South Carolina’s Senate Seat

No Comments on South Carolina’s Senate Seat

Due to the unfortunate death of Lindsey Graham, there is an open election for his seat this year.  After an emergency primary, Ralph Norman, the current House District 5 rep, and Darline Nordone, Lindsey Graham’s sister have emerged as the top two candidates to represent the Republican Party.  The runoff will take place on August 25th.

I have met and spoken with Ralph Norman over the years.  I have watched him in the House and believe he has the backbone and the integrity to stand up for what is right.  Ralph is fiscally conservative and, at this point in time, this is someone we desperately need in Washington.

Ralph’s voting record in DC is amongst the top five for the values we all stand for.

Ralph is Vice Chair of the House Freedom Caucus.  Ralph started the SC Freedom Caucus.

Ralph stood in front of the Capital with the doctors speaking up against the Covid 19 fiasco – forced vaccinations, school closings, etc.  What other candidate can make that claim?

In his run for governor, Ralph was the only candidate who spoke out openly and frequently about the corruption in every aspect of SC government. No other candidate has spoken out like that.

Ralph has been endorsed by the Rick Scott and Mike Lee, two of the most conservative members of the US Senate.

Darline Graham Nordone has picked up a $1 million donation from Invest in Tomorrow Coalition.  This is a leftist clean energy super PAC that tries to sideline staunch lovers of freedom in Republican primaries.  Senator Murkowski, a pure-bred RINO, has endorsed Graham-Nordone as well.

We don’t need another RINO in the Senate from anywhere in the country but especially from South Carolina.  And a US Senate seat is not a family heirloom.  This is the City of London calling the shots.  Is that what we want here in South Carolina?

The negative ads about Ralph Norman are ridiculous.  One ad criticized him because his wealth increased after he won the House seat.  The man is a builder and has been most of his life.  Was he supposed to get poorer because he was in Congress?

Ralph is 73 years old and very wealthy. He does not need money, and he will not be trying to position himself for some higher office. He does not need to do this, but simply wishes to serve our state and country. Can Graham-Nordone say the same?
