Illinois lawmakers are at it again, attempting to end the 2nd Amendment. They are pushing legislation that would force lawful and highly regulated firearm manufacturers to shoulder the costs tied to firearm-related injuries and deaths — regardless of who criminally misused a firearm involved, how it was acquired or when it entered the stream of commerce.
The premise behind this effort is straightforward: make lawful and regulated firearm manufacturers pay costs Illinois associates with the criminal misuse of firearms. This is akin to making car manufacturers pay for the costs of the misuse of automobiles.
The UN went back to work this week. Trump and other heads of state addressed the assembly.
Javier Milei said, “The United Nations is a useless organization, feeding a caste of fatally arrogant parasites disguised as well-intentioned bureaucrats.” I wonder what Milei is like when he tells you just what he is feeling.

Finally, a government program to decrease rents that works. This supply/demand thing rocks.
Of course, in NYC Mamdani is opposed to this since it would invalidate his rent control efforts.
That did not last long. The mainstream media caved and returned to covering the White House after announcing a boycott of television pool coverage in the aftermath of Trump banning CNN, MS Now, and Politico.
However, this backfired when Real America’s Voice took over the press pool to cover Trump’s trip to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday.
Lindell TV and Real America’s Voice were then tapped to be the television pool network to cover Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit in Washington, DC.
On Saturday, Real America’s Voice was tapped again to cover television pool duties for Trump’s trip to Tennessee on board Air Force One.
Big Media decided to gaslight the public by saying that no pool camera was available. The reality was that they would not use the feed from the pool cameras of these other organizations. And let’s be reminded that the reason CNN, MSNOW and Politico were banned was because of lies. Have they not learned anything?
