It is as predictable as the Sun rising in the east. The October surprise during an election year where some sexual misadventure is turned into the cause du jour to show that men are evil and only the Democrats can keep women safe.
In each election year professional Democrats deploy the same process to generate support from “suburban women voters”, also known as AWFLS. AWFLS are women voters typically from middle to upper-middle-class backgrounds, who are perceived as politically liberal or left-leaning, often vocal about social justice issues and engaged in activism or virtue signaling.
The Democrats need to keep these people on the plantation and casting a vote. Some women’s issue or sexual misconduct will surface to allow the Democrats to harangue these women about the danger the country faces from men.

It should be noted just how consistently the Democrats have done this.
For those not familiar with the term Cornell 7, it involves a drunken night of sex and partying where one woman had sex with a number of Cornell males. This occurred in October of 2024. The statement given by the woman in question in 2024 clearly indicated that the alcohol-and-drug-fueled night was voluntary and consensual and did not run afoul of New York law.
According to the statement, the woman was willing, she was even aggressive towards at least one young man. She admitted they all complied with every request she made. One guy wanted a foursome, she said no and it didn’t happen. At the end of the night, she said she told them she was tired and done and it ended right there. She even sent a text to one of the men the next day telling him how much she had enjoyed the experience, Rape? Ridiculous!
The Governor of NY has now weighed in to guarantee that this story will remain in the news cycle as we approach mid-terms.
AOC has decided that this is her cause du jour.

The Democrats must be desperate to keep this part of their voter base under lock and key. The Lindsay Clancy trial didn’t work. The whole case was too horrific for most people. Then Sydney Sweeney posing naked with sports balls. That didn’t poll test well either. So, they have stuck with the Cornell Seven. One can expect the Democrats to drumbeat this case on every channel 24/7 for the next month. Once the election is over, the emphasis and narrative disappears…… until the next election cycle. Wash – Rinse – Repeat.
Hopefully the AWFLS will see through the fog this time. Perhaps the Democrats have gone to the well once too often. Perhaps a tell here is the fact that the NYTimes has indicated that the men are innocent.
