Winning

Following up on a previous post about PDJT not accomplishing very much.  This is astonishing.  PDJT has accomplished more in a year and a half than any other president ever did in four.  It is time for true Americans to speak the truth since Republicans are apparently unable or unwilling to do so.

Here is a list of some more accomplishments out of a long list.  Again, they barely scratch the surface. And yet each and every item here is a game-changer.  And this is not a list of potential successes.  These are real successes.

An American industrial supercycle is beginning.

  1. He made the 2017 tax cuts permanent…and better.

The One Big Beautiful Bill locked in the largest tax cut in modern history, including the doubled standard deduction, the expanded Child Tax Credit, and 100 percent expensing for factories and equipment. It also delivered No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtime, an abolition of most taxes on Social Security benefits, and major relief for seniors.

Average tax refunds are up some 11% due to this bill for this past year.  Almost 20 million people claimed the new No Tax On Overtime provision.  Nearly half of all tax filers have claimed at least one of the BBB’s new tax cuts.

Small business owners are also benefitting.  Such individuals have seen a tax reduction of almost $7,000.  All of this contributes to an improving economy, more jobs and more disposable cash flow.

Every Democrat voted no. With the 2017 act set to expire in December 2025, that would have resulted in the largest tax hike in American history.  This siswho the Democrats are.  Democrats have never seen a tax that they do not support.  Such monies help them to expand government control over everything.

The Trump Administration believes in rewarding hard work, not punishing it as the Democrats do.

  1. He repealed 129 regulations for every new one.

In fiscal 2025, federal agencies finalized 646 deregulatory actions and just five regulatory actions: 129-to-1, and in nearly every case, the “one” was to repeal the others! OIRA says the savings exceeded those of Trump’s entire first term. That is more freedom, lower costs, and less bureaucratic sabotage.

Excess regulation harms economic activity by increasing compliance costs and misallocating resources away from more profitable activities.   This discourages innovation, investment, and economic growth. Regulatory complexity coupled with high compliance costs can also act as a barrier to entry, to certain areas of the economy.  This protects incumbent producers and stifles competition.  The net result is a reduction of startup activity and job formation. Moreover, onerous, unnecessary regulations can lead to higher prices and disproportionate impacts on smaller businesses.

Of these, perhaps the crown jewel was the repeal of Obama’s 2009 “Endangerment Finding”, the legal foundation for the Green New Scam’s vehicle mandates.

The Endangerment Finding served as a prerequisite for regulating emissions from new motor vehicles and new motor vehicle engines. Without this finding, the EPA lacks statutory authority to prescribe standards for green house gas emissions.

The EPA calls it the largest deregulatory action in American history and estimates that by itself, it will save Americans more than $1.3 trillion. Trump also killed the federal EV mandate, restored Americans’ freedom to buy the cars and trucks they actually want.

To understand this better, it helps to look at rulemaking under the previous administration. Based on estimates from Federal agencies themselves as reported by the American Action Forum, the Biden Administration imposed a record $1.8 trillion in new regulatory costs on the economy. If left in place, these would strangle economic growth.

However, even those effects come in far below University of Chicago Professor Casey Mulligan’s estimate of $5 trillion in regulatory costs in Biden Administration rulemaking, when properly accounting for resource and opportunity costs that, in his assessment, were not captured in the official estimates.

An additional benefit of deregulation is lower inflation. As we saw during the Biden administration, the Democrats want higher inflation.  It was only when inflation got truly scary to the general public, that the Democrats backed off.

  1. He secured $18 trillion in investment commitments…and made reindustrialization real.

That’s nearly two-thirds the size of the entire American economy.  This includes building American factories, chip plants, data centers, energy projects, steel mills, shipyards, and supply chains employing American workers. Apple, Meta, NVIDIA, Micron, Hyundai, U.S. Steel, Ford, Taiwan Semiconductor, and many corporations and sovereign wealth funds are betting big on Trump’s America. And it’s just getting started.

Ford is moving Lincoln production out of China. Toyota is shifting Tacoma production from Mexico to Texas. GM, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis, and others are expanding U.S. production. Power plants and refineries are going up. The capital equipment pouring into the country is the machinery that’s building the growing boom.

It’s the greatest story never told!

According to the latest from the Census Bureau, the poverty rate just hit its lowest level in U.S. history.

That’s not all. America just also hit its highest real median household income in history. The Atlanta Fed estimates that the economy is growing at an incredible 5 percent annual rate. That’s after years of Democrats promising us that 1.6 percent was “the new normal.” It’s also after barely more than a year and a half of Trump back in office.

It gets even better. Real weekly earnings for blue-collar manufacturing workers are up 4.1 percent since January 2025; construction workers’ earnings are up an even higher 5 percent.

It’s kind of a miracle. And it’s gathering steam.  Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says we’ve entered the “acceleration phase,” as the tax changes and deregulation start to produce the results they were literally designed to produce.

Bessent calls it “parallel prosperity.” Wall Street and Main Street can both do well at once. A profitable company is sustainable: it expands, hires people, trains them, and pays them more. An unprofitable company does none of those things. Yet the “Democratic Socialist” treats the profits that make prosperity possible as an offense, one that must be crushed in the name of “social justice.”

That’s the choice on November’s ballot.

  1. Trump replaced lopsided trade deals with balanced, reciprocal trade.

Trump used tariffs as leverage to reverse 80 years of lopsided trade deals that favored everyone but America, and to win new or improved agreements with trading partners accounting for more than half of global GDP. Those agreements open foreign markets, attack non-tariff barriers, defend strategic industries, and make it more profitable to build in America than to export American jobs.

A good example of this is the Indonesia agreement.  It eliminated tariff barriers on over 99% of US products exported to Indonesia.  It also addressed non-tariff barriers.  Indonesia also eliminated barriers on digital trade ensuring a level playing field for electronic payment companies.

The United States and Indonesia recognized the massive commercial deals reached of approximately $33 billion worth of investment in agriculture, aerospace, and energy in the United States – further increasing U.S. exports to Indonesia. This includes:

  • Purchases of approximately $15 billion of U.S. energy commodities.
  • Procurement of commercial aircraft and aviation-related goods and services of approximately $13.5 billion, including from Boeing.
  • Purchases of over $4.5 billion of U.S. agricultural products.

Freeport-McMoRan signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indonesia to extend its mining license and expand operations in the Grasberg minerals district, the world’s second largest copper mine. This deal will generate an expected $10 billion in annual revenue and will further strengthen U.S. supply chains for critical minerals.

PDJT is liberating America from unfair trade practices.  No longer is America tolerating these unfair deals.  At this point the United States has reached trade agreements with major U.S. trading partners covering more than half of global GDP.

And the Democrats would have you believe that somehow all of this is harming America.
