Numbers

Every election brings forth numbers and results that at best seem a bit weird.  And this election was no different.  And the numbers are not just vote counts although such an item is a significant part of this review.

Let’s start with an interview between Steven Miller, who has just been promoted to White House Chief of Staff and Jake Tapper.  Former White House Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, has departed.  Was she the source of the disastrous recommendation to back Darline Graham in South Carolina?

Tapper tried to bait Miller into defending the indefensible: deporting the very workers who put food on America’s tables.  Tapper was careful.   Tapper cited a USDA figure that 𝟒𝟐% 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐩 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 were undocumented between 2020 and 2022, then asked how deportations “𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘱 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘴” through higher grocery prices.  This is the affordability platform that the Democrats ran on.

Miller refused to let Tapper define the game board which is what many Republicans forgot to do during the recent election cycle.  Miller reversed the field.

“𝘐’𝘮 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘑𝘢𝘬𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘺 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢’𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯 𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳.”

Actually I am certain that this is the Democratic position.  They are the party of big business.  Exploiting illegal alien labor saves big business a bunch of bucks.

Miller went on to note that 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝟏% 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞. The real destination for illegal immigration, Miller said, isn’t the farm belt — it’s 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘠𝘰𝘳𝘬, 𝘓𝘰𝘴 𝘈𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘴, and the small towns that absorbed Joe Biden’s Springfield-style migrant flights.

“𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘦.”

Ouch!  That had to hurt.  On national TV as well.  When Tapper tried to change the focus of the discussion, Miller made it clear that he had a lot more numbers he could put into the debate.  Miller closed by promising a guest-worker program paired with automation while making clear there is no universe in which America lets millions of illegal immigrants simply stay, especially the subset who prey on citizens.

So which number was true?  As it turns out, both numbers are true.  Tapper picked the number that would scare Americans because he is a Democratic PR person and supporting the affordability narrative is what he is paid to do.  The new White House Chief of Staff was prepared for him.

A convicted felon who dropped out of the race and stopped campaigning still won a Texas House seat.  Ericka Lomick, a/k/a Ericka Flood, suspended her campaign in September after her federal criminal record was made public.

Deadlines had already passed, so her name stayed on the ballot. She won.

Lomick/Flood cannot be seated.  Under Texas law, a final felony conviction generally makes someone ineligible to hold public office without a pardon or formal release from disabilities.  The crime was federal so the new Texas governor cannot issue a pardon.  Weird.

The Democrats are pushing the narrative that Republicans stayed home or flipped, when the actual statistics PROVE the opposite, and that over 1.4 MILLION MORE votes were for Republicans in 2026 than in 2022.

But Democrats somehow magically gain 19 MILLION new voters?

On top of this, the mainstream media’s own statistics prove that Republicans didn’t flip for Democrats either and stayed loyal to their Republican Party from 2024 through 2026.

Somehow Democrats gained over 19 MILLION more voters, with some Democrat candidates receiving record vote counts higher than others in presidential elections in previous years?

Are they trying to Brazil us?  Are these the same voters who showed up for Biden in 2020 and then have disappeared since then?  BTW every state-wide election in California was decided by 53 to 46.  Weird.
