In this crazy political season I decided a little religion might be appropriate so here is a short Bible study.
Remember what Jesus said: ‘Goats on the left, sheep on the right’. (Matthew 25:33).
A regular exercise that Democrats engage in every four years is to claim that Republicans are going to end Medicare and/or Social Security. This was a big item during the 2000 election campaign of Bush vs Gore. The Bush campaign was talking about privatizing some aspects of Social Security. There never was any intent to end or even reduce Social Security. None of these claims of ending Social Security were true. The Democrats were just trying to scare older citizens into voting Democratic.
In every presidential election cycle since then, the Democrats have hammered at this theme even though absolutely nothing about the Republican platforms have suggested taking away or reducing Social Security and/or Medicare benefits.
The smears from the Democrats and their media allies started before Amy Coney Barrett was announced as the nominee to fill Justice Ginsburg’s seat. These smears will continue and undoubtedly grow in intensity between now the day of the confirmation vote.
With that is mind, just who is Amy Coney Barrett? By all accounts she is the right person at the right time. As the White House press release stated, Judge Amy Coney Barrett will serve the American people with honor and distinction on the Supreme Court.
Jack Brewer, a former NFL player and a lifelong Democrat, talked about his support for PDJT. Brewer talked about growing up and witnessing racism. As he noted, that is not President Trump. Brewer said that the insults of people who dislike the fact that he’s black and supports Trump only serve to stiffen his support for the President.
The nomination of a woman to the Supreme Court by PDJT has raised the Roe vs Wade Supreme Court decision from 1973. Of course, it would not have mattered who was nominated by PDJT. Any nominee by a Republican President is going to be vilified as anti-woman, anti-LGBT and a host of other smears.
The Roe Vs Wade decision was one of the worst decisions ever to come down from the nine black robes on the bench. It is on a par with Plessy vs Ferguson from 1895-96 which allowed the Jim Crow laws, separate but equal and all the other crap that flowed downhill from that decision.
Whenever it is overturned (and it should be overturned) Roe vs Wade will be looked back on in the same way. The downstream crap from Row V Wade has been the killing of millions of unborn children. This has been justified by the statements along the lines that a woman has the right to kill her child.
Vernon Jones, a lifelong Democrat and a state representative in the State of Georgia, spoke at the Republican National Convention. Jones begins a truly amazing speech by explaining why he, a Democrat, would speak at the RNC.
Jones called out the Democratic Party for forcing blacks to remain on mental plantation for many generations. Jones told the Democrats and Joe Biden,
“We are free. We are free people with free minds. And I am part of a large and growing statement of the black community who are independent thinkers and we believe that Donald Trump is the President that America needs to lead us forward.” ...
A little humor for the weekend.
When they tell you what they are planning to do, believe them! Sometimes the obvious is overlooked. Sometimes the opposition forgets that they have moved outside their own echo chamber and they tell you just what they are thinking and planning. Sometimes they slip up and throw a brick through your front window that gets your attention.
While I am going to talk about the Democrats here, remember the other side of the UniParty. They do the same things from time to time.
Michael McHale, President of the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO), spoke at the Republican National Convention in support of the candidacy of PDJT. McHale says the streets will be far worse under a Biden/Harris presidency.
Although it has been ignored by the MSM, by now due to the samizdat many people know about the fraud involving COVID case counts in Nashville. Apparently flush with power, the mayor decided to keep bars closed and restaurants at 25% capacity arbitrarily. At the time he talked about a big spike in case counts originating from these locations. As it turns out, as is par for the course during these lockdowns, this was not true.
