“…They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning – We will remember them…”

A Tale Of Two States

Comments Off on A Tale Of Two States

In the ancient history of the Chinese virus, (that would be a couple of months ago) New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo was the media darling.  Cuomo was on cable midday news everyday.  The bobbleheads gushed over his handling of the crisis.

The New York Times’ Ben Smith wrote, “The governor has emerged as the executive best suited for the coronavirus crisis.”  Carl Bernstein told CNN that Cuomo has demonstrated “real leadership of the kind the president of the United States should have provided to the American people throughout this crisis, but hasn’t.”

On the other end of the spectrum is Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis.  DeSantis was blasted by the media for his approach.  According to the Miami Herald, “Gov. Ron DeSantis is working overtime to preserve our status as the world’s leading exporter of political comedy.”

The Herald went on to note that while there is no manual for how to handle this threat, DeSantis should contact certain Democratic governors who appeared to be decisive and right on top of the issue.  These included Cuomo of New York.

Why Does The Media (And The DNC) Hate HCQ?

Dr. Stephen Smith, MD is a widely respected, infectious disease specialist in East Orange, NJ and has been practicing for 31 years. He graduated from Yale University in 1989 and specializes in infectious disease medicine.  Dr. Smith is a former research scientist at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases under Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Last month Dr. Smith briefed PDJT on the promise of the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as a treatment for COVID-19, calling it a “game changer.”  This led to PDJT embracing the drug as a possible effective treatment.  The fact that HCQ was being used successfully in other countries had been noted by the media.  However, once PDJT endorsed its possible use, the media immediately closed ranks and tried to portray PDJT as anti-science and needlessly putting people’s lives at risk.

Unconstitutional Lockdowns

In Washington State, Governor Jay Inslee (D) has decided to forcibly quarantine people if they refuse to be tested for the Wuhan coronavirus. Also, if one member of your household tests positive, or if you refuse to be tested, the entire family will be forcibly quarantined.

WND News Services reports,

State Republican Rep. Matt Shea of the Spokane area in eastern Washington, explained in a video interview with The New American magazine that the camps are part of Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee’s policy of contract tracing, which has been implemented by many states.

He explained that the tracers visit people who may have been infected and advise them they can isolate at a center to protect other members of their household.

While the infected person may be asked to volunteer, the government makes it clear that people can be forcibly quarantined, Shea pointed out.

He read a line from a form that local health officers are to present to someone who is infected.

It says: “If you do not comply with this request for voluntary quarantine I may/will sign a detention order, enforced by the police, to ensure your compliance.”

Flynn Insanity

      Comments Off on Flynn Insanity

Previously I had referred to the Sullivan courtroom as a circus.  Unfortunately that is not true.  There isn’t anything funny or humorous going on here.  And to call this a kangaroo court would be elevating this to a status that is far beyond what it really is.

This is an attempt to lynch Flynn.  There is a complete absence of the rule of law.  Sullivan is making it up as he goes along.  He is taking pieces of civil procedure and dropping them into a criminal case.  Sullivan has one simple thing to do here and that is grant the motion to dismiss that he has no authority to deny.  Sullivan appointing an “amicus” to act as prosecutor shows that he has gone completely off the rails.  Sullivan appears to be out to get Flynn by any means necessary.
