An Awakening
Going back to Oliver Anthony’s Rich Men North of Richmond, at his first performance less than a week after his song went ‘viral’, the audience sang along, already knowing the words.
There is an awakening going on.

It goes without saying that most of the country now knows that the government lies to us whenever it suits them. People are imprisoned falsely, railroaded, denied basic human rights because they are of the wrong political ideology. The January 6th fedsurrection is just one example.
Fox reported that Stockton Mayor Kevin Lincoln said that the 7/11 store clerks seen attacking a suspected shoplifter “are not and never have been suspects.” Lincoln is referring to the July 29 attack of a suspected homeless man who at around 2:45 a.m. walked into a Stockton 7/11, jumped behind the counter and began clearing shelves full of items into a trash can.
“Suspected homeless man?” That’s the focus of this news report?
The focus should be the fact that California has seeded a surge in thefts from stores because they have reduced the seriousness of these crimes. That is just one of many examples of the results of this insane approach to crime.
We all live in an era of great pretending. It is the only honest evaluation of today’s state of affairs that explains how so many people do not see the evil that surrounds us.
Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC-5) speaks for many Americans not just those in the House district that he represents. He is one of the 15 Republican House members who are trying to restore some sanity to the process of our government in Washington. He is one of the few House members who actually stands up and says “No!” to appropriations that do not have a funding mechanism that isn’t some pie in the sky projection put out by the Congressional Budget Office.
Last week I published a post on the fact that we are the majority in this country. This fact has been re-enforced by two songs that have riled up the music world. The first was Jason Aldean’s “Try That In A Small Town.”
“Try That In A Small Town” refers to the feeling of a community where neighbors took care of neighbors, regardless of differences of background or belief. Apparently calling out the leftist evil that is being perpetrated on the American public is now ‘violent’ and ‘hateful.’ Leftists have gone into screaming fits of rage over this music video.
I have more questions that our “beloved” leaders need to answer.
When did clean-burning, cheap, and abundant natural gas become the equivalent to dirty coal? How did natural gas that that helped create American energy self-sufficiency, that reduced pollution, and that provided inexpensive electricity become a pariah fuel whose extraction is a war against nature? Which votes of the people declared natural gas development and pipelines to be criminal? Which lawmakers decided to impoverish people by outlawing the use of natural gas?
Most of us remember the war against the people who refused the jab. The jab did almost nothing in terms of preventing infection. Still, people were fired from their jobs. Multiple doses made some people into super carriers. They were Typhoid Marys. But, according to those involved in this war against science, the unjabbed were the problem.
Now they want us to forgive and forget. They tried to use state power to coerce us into giving up our most basic right – the right to choose what medicines we take. They put the jackboot on our throats and told us to comply. They hated us for refusing and made sure that everyone knew it.
We draw so much energy and inspiration from President Trump that we don’t really stop to think of the personal impact these indictments are having on him. We don’t consider the toll emotionally on him and Melania and his family. May God be his strength.
The FBI is burying crime data. The nation’s murder rate has exploded over the last two years. However, one would never know it from looking at FBI crime data. NewsNation got suckered into putting out a report that showed a large decline in murders during 2021. Apparently using the FBI data they were off by 40%.
