It’s A Diversion

The news has dominated the news cycle. Liberal heads are exploding all over the country. There has been and will continue to be an avalanche of commentary over the days and weeks ahead. A major leak never before seen of Supreme Court deliberations. A draft opinion by Justice Alito was leaked to Politico that suggested strongly that Roe v Wade and Casey would be overturned. Now, until the final report comes out, this is not the final word. When that will happen is anyone’s guess.

I have not written a whole lot about what is going on in Ukraine because there is almost no way to get accurate information. Russian State media runs propaganda for Putin. In Western countries, Big Media is little more than the same kind of propaganda arm. To quote one wag, the media here are just stenographers who repeat whatever the government elites tell them. The days of independent journalists digging out stories are gone.

These are dark times. Violence is escalating as those who would use COVID to control the world are losing that battle. In Amsterdam (yes, I know, this is not being reported by Big Media here), huge anti-lockdown demonstrations turned into real violence with protesters mauled by police dogs and beaten with batons in the streets. The COVID compliance police went to extraordinary lengths to be physically violent.

While the evidence is overwhelming that shows that Rittenhouse acted to save his own life, who knows what the jury might do. A decade ago this case would never have been brought to trial.

So the head of the Catholic Church (he was duly elected) and the illegitimate head of the free world met in private for 75 minutes.

However, on Wednesday Tucker Carlson discussed the directive by AG Merrick Garland for the FBI in conjunction with the National Security Division to investigate any parent who opposes the teaching of Critical Race Theory and the masking of kids in school. There will undoubtedly be many such discussions across the country in the coming months. Few will be done as masterfully as Carlson’s monologue.

Democratic Senator Sheldon Whitehouse from Rhode Island has decided to stir the pot once again with regards to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Whitehouse’s efforts are to try to influence the outcome of issues being litigated in the Supreme Court. The Left had eighty years where the majority of the Court were individuals who believed that the Constitution was a “living” document. Now that the Court appears to have five justices who believe in the Constitution, the Left is apoplectic that cases will be decided based on the rule of law.
