Gatekeeper

The Hunter Biden deal is mucking up the Democrats’ plans to take over the country and turn America into a one-party totalitarian government.  No one in the public was aware of just how shady the so-called deal was until Wednesday.  Thank God there was a competent judge on the bench, Judge Maryellen Noreika, who was not willing to be a pawn in their game.

Will Scharf, a former federal prosecutor, has provided an opinion on what he believes took place.

McConnell Freezes

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) abruptly froze at a press conference Wednesday before he was ushered away from the podium—raising questions about the 81-year-old lawmaker’s health months after he recovered from a concussion and broken rib from a fall at a Washington hotel.  McConnell later returned to the podium and said he was fine.

McConnell is looking worse than ever.  McConnell has not looked good since he fell earlier this year and missed six weeks in Washington.  He was completely gone for a minute there. ...

Odds & Ends

The Biden administration announced Friday it would automatically forgive $39 billion in student debt for 804,000 borrowers.  This comes just weeks after the Supreme Court struck down the attempt by the White House to buy votes with their previous plan to cancel debt.

These borrowers entered into a contract to receive money and to make repayments of said money.  Their debt should not be transferred to the general public.  Why should someone who paid off their student loan have to pay off the debt of someone else?

Democrats Threaten Violence

For anyone who has been paying the least bit of attention, once again the country is approaching its debt limit.  This has been talked about for several months.  The Democrats, who want to spend the country into oblivion, have refused to discuss the reining in of any spending on the part of the federal government.  Until very recently they have refused to entertain the idea of even talking about spending and any curtailments of that.

In the meantime, the Republicans have passed a bill extending the debt ceiling while incorporating cuts in some federal programs.  None of these cuts would affect the big programs like Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security.  The cuts did affect things like the 87,000 additional IRS agents that would be sent to harass middle America.

Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has refused to even consider such a bill in the Senate that would entail any decreases in federal spending or even slowing the increase in spending.  The Democrats seem to believe that they can do whatever they want to without there being any consequences for their recklessness.

Anti-Semitic

      Comments Off on Anti-Semitic

Anti-Semitic is a term that is often used like the term racist.  A “woke” person who is losing a debate on some topic by the facts put forth by another will throw the emotion-laden term into the mix of the discussion.  His/her purpose in doing this is to roil the waters and turn the conversation away from the facts presented.

Using the term racist in this manner was often seen when someone criticized former President Obama on some policy manner.  If the facts presented were inconvenient, referring to the presenter of such facts as a racist was often enough to squelch further debate.  Open and honest debate on Obama policy issues was routinely suppressed this way.
