“The science has changed,” Dr. Leana Wen said Monday night on CNN as she explained why she now supports ending most pandemic restrictions.

This is the same woman who said that Americans who wish to have privileges need to get jabbed.

“There are privileges associated with being an American. That if you wish to have these privileges, you need to get vaccinated. Travel, and having the right to travel in interstate, it’s not a constitutional right as far as I know to board a plane.”

The only science that has changed is the political science polling that shows that most Americans have seen through the ridiculous narrative put out by the Left about COVID. This
“evolution” by Dr. Wen is simply political calculation.

Suicide?

Did GoFundMe just commit business suicide? The question needs to be asked after they tried to re-direct the donations that were headed to the Canadian Freedom Convoy. They proposed to re-distribute to money to charities of choice. Why? Because they decided that the Freedom Convoy was engaged in illegal activities. They weren’t. This action by GFM ignores all the money that was raised through GoFundMe for people who rioted, looted, burned and otherwise destroyed cities in America during 2020. The Freedom Convoy was having none of that. However, they were a threat to the leftist political hierarchy in Canada. And for that they must be cancelled.

The reaction to fear is the need to control everything around you. Ottawa Police Chief Peter Sloly was the vehicle to demonstrate this on Friday. The Freedom Convoy truckers in Ottawa are peacefully protesting. The protest has continued for a week. Contrary to the “peaceful protests” after George Floyd’s death due to a drug overdose, these protests actually have been peaceful. There has been no rioting or vandalism. However, what these protesters have exposed is just how weak the government is when We The People stand up and say “No!”

Are The Truckers Winning?

For those who may not be aware of it (and many of you won’t be), the border crossing between Couts, Alberta, Canada and Sweet Grass, Montana in the US has been closed for some time. Was it closed by the Canadian government? No. Was it closed by the US government? No. It was closed by truckers supporting the Freedom Convoy currently occupying Ottawa. They formed a blockade and would not allow traffic to flow in either direction.

Several times over the past year I have mentioned the striking parallels between the activities of the Democratic Party since Obama was elected and the rise of the Nazis in Germany during the 1920’s and 1930’s. These parallels are being noticed by more people. Steve McCann has produced two excellent columns over at American Thinker on this subject. I will be borrowing from his efforts here.

There is little doubt about the Nazi tactics being used by the left to fundamentally transform America from a constitutional republic into a socialist/communist state with one-party, totalitarian rule. The Democrats continue to try to exploit fears of “systemic racism” and “white supremacy” to advance their agenda of controlling the public just as the Nazis did almost a century ago. Witness the barbed wire enclosure of the Capitol in the face of a supposed imminent threat to the constitutional order of the country. Witness the charges of “insurrection” against people who peacefully protested the stealing of the 2020 election.

As I mentioned yesterday, the current situation with the faux impeachment has historical analogies. Of particular note is the trial of King Charles I in England in the 17^th Century by radical members of Parliament. Oliver Cromwell was a prominent leader of Parliament who was directly engaged in the insurrection that defeated King Charles. And it was an insurrection.

While this is a long story involving multiple years of civil war in England, in the end the dispute was about powers that Parliament had versus the powers of the King.

Has the media entered into an echo chamber or fantasy land where what they say matters little to most Americans?

Rasmussen and others conduct regular polls on the popularity and support for POTUS. On January 5^th, PDJT’s job approval rating was 47%. Then came the rally to Save America on January 6^th which was followed by some Antifa types and some pro-Trump loonies invading the Capitol building.

Since then, there has been firestorm of coverage from the media denouncing the President, charging sedition, incitement to riot, an attempted coup and calling for his impeachment. The Democrats have obliged by ginning up another false impeachment proceeding. They even managed to convince a small number of Republicans to join them.

Truth Is A Menace

The most dangerous thing that any totalitarian regime fears is the truth. In America today anyone who dares to speak out against the new regime, who dares to espouse a different worldview, becomes a target. They must be silenced.

Stop The Steal is one such movement. It is not just PDJT and his 100+ million supporters of American freedom and liberty who can be problematic for the globalists who wish to rule the world. It is anyone whose voice does not rise up in harmony with them.
