Qassem Soleimani, The Man

Comments Off on Qassem Soleimani, The Man

On Friday night Jan 3, 2020, America killed IRGC Commander Gen. Qassem Soleimani at the Baghdad International Airport.  Just who was Qassem Soleimani?

FACT:  Soleimani was commander of Iran’s Quds Force.  He had been commander of the Quds Force for more than two decades.

FACT:  Iran is the biggest supporter of state-sponsored terrorism in the world.  Soleimani was the architect of Iran’s foreign policy and strategy as principal adviser to the theocratic leadership.

Yes Virginia, There Is A Second Amendment

Comments Off on Yes Virginia, There Is A Second Amendment

The new year is here.  It’s also a new decade.  Every rollover from one year to the next brings with it changes to the political landscape.   This year is no exception.  In November Virginia voted to make their legislature Democratic as well as the governorship.  Almost as soon as the ballot counting had ended, state legislators began floating the idea of widespread gun confiscation.

On November 18, State Sen. Dick Saslaw introduced a bill that he will sponsor in the 2020 legislative session. This bill will outlaw the possession of certain firearms.  Every rifle of the common AR-15 design and a great many pistols and shotguns in common use for personal defense, target shooting, and hunting would be banned.

Please note this is not just banning the sale or transfer of such weapons.  It criminalizes the possession of such weapons.  It would be a Class 6 felony.  In Virginia, Class 6 felonies are punishable by imprisonment for between one and five years.

A Conversation With Robert O’Brien

Comments Off on A Conversation With Robert O’Brien

National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien appeared on ABC This Week with Jonathan Karl to discuss a number of issues.  Among them was North Korea.  Karl attempted to use former advisor John Bolton comments to undermine PDJT’s approach.

O’Brien does a very credible job of rebutting Karl’s comments.  He noted that President Obama had advised PDJT that a hot war was quite possible on the Korean peninsula.  O’Brien also noted that no progress had been made under the previous three administrations with North Korea.

Iran on Fire

Comments Off on Iran on Fire

President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw U.S. troops from an area in Syria between Turkish and Kurdish forces was supposed to be a victory for Russia and Iran.  Supposedly Iran would control the entire arc of the Levant from Baghdad to Beirut.

Once again the media has misled the public.  During the last two weeks protestors in Iran have literally set the place on fire.  The ability of Iran’s government to control their own country is in serious jeopardy.  There has been scant mention of this in US media.

Iranian protesters are on the streets in dozens of towns and cities across the country as anger spreads following a government decision to double/triple the price of fuel.  Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, came out in support of the government’s decision to increase gasoline prices and called those setting fire to public property “bandits” backed by the enemies of Iran.

WaPo Derangement

      Comments Off on WaPo Derangement

The MSM is becoming more and more exposed as being obviously biased against law-abiding citizens who believe in this country, who believe in life and liberty, and for those who would plot the country’s destruction.

The most recent example of this was WaPo’s handling of the al-Baghdadi death.  WaPo exposed itself as being biased against anyone who values human life and for someone who beheaded thousands of people who would not ascribe to his particular beliefs.

Impeachment Inquisition Continues

Comments Off on Impeachment Inquisition Continues

The Democrats moved further down the trail away from fairness and justice. Adam Schiff prohibited witnesses from answering questions from Republican congressmen during Schiff’s impeachment inquisition in the House basement.  Schiff claims it is a fair process, but Schiff is now directing witnesses not to answer questions from Republicans.  Why?  Is Adam Schiff afraid of the truth?

As Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Steve Scalise (R-LA) reported, this is becoming more and more the type of one-sided process one used to see in the old Soviet Union.  The Democrats are trying to impeach a President behind closed doors without any due process just like in the old Soviet Union.

The Soviets would decide what the crime was, they would decide who would testify and then they would render a verdict.  Of course, that verdict would be pre-determined.  Show trials were their specialty.  By the time they were done, the public would be convinced of the guilt of any innocent party.  If the victim played along, then he/she might expect only a couple of decades in the gulag.

al-Baghdadi Dead

      Comments Off on al-Baghdadi Dead

Over the weekend US special forces executed a raid on an ISIS location in Syria that resulted in the death of ISIS strongman Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.  Baghdadi was the self-proclaimed leader of ISIS that had conquered large swaths of eastern Syria and western Iraq.  He had established an Islamic caliphate in that area.

Baghdadi was responsible for some of the most heinous acts the modern world had ever seen.  Baghdadi and his ISIS terrorists beheaded international journalists, buried journalists in the ground and ran them over with tanks.  They brutally raped captives and drowned and burned Syrian civilians in cages.  They burned a Jordanian pilot alive in a cage and murdered dozens of Coptic Christians on the beaches of Libya.  ISIS captured and kept as sex slaves thousands of women.

Much of this was filmed and broadcast over the Internet.

All The News That’s Fit To Print

Comments Off on All The News That’s Fit To Print

This is the slogan of the NYTimes. As has been pointed out here many times, the NYTimes often does not report accurately on the news. And when they do, they often report with a bias in support of Democratic talking points and against anything that might show PDJT and the Republicans in any kind of a positive light.

Of course, they lost any claim to fair and balanced reporting a long time ago. Their coverage of the shooting down of TWA 800 on July 17, 1996 closed the door on the “Gray Lady” as being a purveyor of accurate reporting. One can only speculate that that had something to do with their fear of the possible Republican presidency of Bob Dole.

This week the NYTimes continued their support of all things Democratic by tweeting the following about that truly evil event that occurred 18 years ago:
