It is amazing how quickly Biden’s handlers are destroying America.

Higher net crude oil imports are set to make the United States a net petroleum importer this year again, as in 2021, after a historic shift of being a net petroleum exporter in 2020, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Friday.

A net petroleum importer is a country that imports more crude oil and refined products than the crude and products it exports.

This is part of the Democratic strategy to make people more dependent on the government. Stop oil production in our country and force people to give up private transportation. The ending of cheap fuel accomplishes this.

Of course, it also makes it more expensive to heat one’s home. And it forces the prices of all goods moved by trucks to be higher. That would include food which prices have been rising at rates not seen since the Carter administration.

And now they will blame Russia and Ukraine. It’s all part of the strategy.

On The Ground In Ottawa

The following is from an interview with a reporter who had been on the ground with the truckers in Ottawa.

Hochman: I got here late Sunday afternoon, got into Ottawa and settled Sunday evening. And I went out and just checked out the convoy that night.

And things are a lot more crowded on the weekends than they are during the week, so I only caught the back end of the really crazy weekend, which is when you have thousands and thousands of protesters streaming into the city. But I’ve been there since then and I’ve been talking to a lot of the folks on the ground and it’s just the core group of truckers, which is still hundreds and hundreds of people.

And it’s amazing, these people are, I think, patriots in the most authentic sense of the term. They’re weathering not just insane cold temperatures and sleeping in their trucks to fight for their freedoms, but also now a full-on frontal assault from their federal and provincial governments.

So I have nothing but respect for these guys. They’re some of the kindest people that I’ve ever met. And I don’t say that just because of my ideological priors. I went into this supporting the cause, but thinking that maybe a lot of these guys were going to be kooks and crazies, and that’s not the case. These are really decent, fundamentally good people who are fighting for their basic freedoms and their rights and their way of life. And it’s a really wonderful thing.

It’s Unstoppable

I had wondered what might be the spark that would ignite the people to come together and fight back against the totalitarian efforts of world governments. Tiananmen Square has been banished from the history books in China. Mention of it is not permitted anywhere. However, what happened in Tiananmen Square lives on in the oral history that is passed from one generation to the next.

The Freedom Convoy in Canada just might be the next Tiananmen Square. The fact that Trudeau sees them as an existential threat and is pulling out all the stops says a lot in support of that idea.

This week Trudeau went one step further and essentially imposed a broad-based censorship on the entire country when he invoked the Emergencies Act. Legal? Absolutely not! But such legal road bumps are a mere annoyance to people like Trudeau.

Demonstrating that Canada is now a police state, the Trudeau administration instructed banks, insurance companies and financial institutions to seize the accounts of any individual, group or business who are associated with political protest.

The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans ruled 2-1 Wednesday to maintain a block on the mandate that a Texas-based federal judge had issued on Jan. 21. The administration had asked the New Orleans court for an injunction allowing the federal worker mandate to move forward pending appeal.

President Joe Biden announced in September that more than 3.5 million federal workers were required to undergo vaccination, with no option to get regularly tested instead, unless they secured approved medical or religious exemptions. The requirement kicked in this past November. That mandate continues to be blocked.

Freedom is spreading. The Freedom Convoy trucker protest has now expanded and is starting to hit more U.S-Canada border crossings, while the main trucker convoy remains in downtown Ottawa.

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Canadian authorities say a demonstration involving a large number of vehicles and farm equipment is blocking the Emerson Port of Entry, which is the border crossing on I-29 from Pembina, North Dakota to Emerson, Manitoba, CA.

Manitoba Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) posted on social media that no traffic is getting through either northbound or southbound and the port of entry is shut down.
