For The People, Part 2

For The People.  Another Orwellian title to a piece of Congressional legislation.  HR 1, the Democrat’s landmark piece of legislation, is “for the people” like banning firearms reduces crime.  1984 is upon us.  Night is day. Day is night.  The more accurate title would be Against The People.

HR 1 is designed to trample all over the God-given rights of Americans. The left-wing ACLU found this particular piece of legislation a few steps too far even for them.

Despite the obvious unconstitutionality of the legislation, the Democrats passed it in the House.  The Democrats do not care whether it is unconstitutional or not.  To the Democrats the Constitution is merely a piece of paper that can be ignored when it suits them.

America was founded on the basis of the Ten Commandments.  The Ten Commandments are good guidelines for any prosperous society.  People who govern themselves by following these guidelines will be free, peaceful and prosperous.  However, the Constitution often gets in the way of the Democrats’ 1st Commandment.

What is wrong with this bill will provide astute writers with much to write about for months going forward.  However, HR 1 is part of a plan.   The  Democrats are a tool of the Deep State.  They want to be the public persona of the Deep State since this will give them wealth and protection.  The plan is to transform America into a country with one party rule like the old Soviet Union or present day Venezuela.

A major component of the plan is to re-make how elections are governed in America.  To accomplish this the left wants to micro-manage the election process.  They want to usurp the individual state’s authority over the election process. They need to do this if they are to succeed in establishing one-party rule in America.  They hide behind euphemisms that usually include a statement like “this will make it easier to vote.”  In this case Rep. John Sarbanes, the chief sponsor of HR 1,  carried the water for this.  He said his bill was designed…”to make it easier not harder to register and vote in America.”  What the bill really does is “to make it easier to register fraudulently and vote fraudulently.”

The model the left is using in HR 1 is California.  This would extend to the entire country California’s election laws. This would include automatic voter registration, same-day voter registration, no fault absentee balloting, no purging of voter rolls and ballot harvesting.

How has automatic voter registration worked in the states that have tried it?  Recently in Pennsylvania the Democratic administration reluctantly admitted that some 11,200 people have been illegally registered to vote.  This was due to a “glitch” in state DMV computers which allowed noncitizens to register to vote easily.  At this writing it is unclear just how widespread this “glitch” was.  Some estimates range up to 100,000.  How many who actually voted is unknown.  The potential ramifications are very unnerving.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton recently announced that as many as 95,000 noncitizens were on Texas’ voter rolls, and that at least 58,000 of them actually had voted at least once.  What effect has this had on elections in Texas?  The Democrats are talking about turning Texas blue.  Is voter fraud going to be their method of choice?  Keep in mind that every vote cast illegally nullifies a ballot cast for a different candidate by a legal voter. We hear a lot about “voter suppression” from the Democrats.   This is real voter suppression.

Until recently California had been extremely reluctant to review their voter rolls.  They were violating the federal “Motor Voter” law in taking this position.  In populous Los Angeles county the voter registration lists recently stood at 112% of the number of eligible citizens.  A lawsuit was filed against the state over this.  According to the Orange County Register the result of the lawsuit was the following:

Padilla admits he does not know how many non-citizens voted in California after being illegally registered to vote at California’s DMV.  If someone completed a transaction with the DMV, he/she was automatically registered to vote unless they specifically opted out of the process. The result was an unknown number of thousands of non-citizens registered to vote.  The effect on the outcome of recent elections in California is unknown.

These are the results of automatic voter registration.  Clearly these processes are error-prone and the source of illegally registered voters, people who should not have the right to vote.

The Register went on to note the following upcoming changes in California:

“In 2020, local polling places will be replaced by vote centers where people will be able to register to vote on Election Day, change their address, switch their party preference, obtain a replacement ballot and, of course, vote.  No ID or documentation will be required. Where are the safeguards against tampering or voter impersonation?”

Clearly there are no safeguards.  California is adopting the voting protocols of a third world country.  Why would any rational person want to extend such processes to all of America?  The answer is obvious.  This comes right back to the Democrats’ 1st Commandment.  This would give the Democrats a source of illegal votes that would help them win elections.  Over 200 Democrats in the House voted for HR 1.

This is the modern Democratic Party.
