PDJT wants to transform U.S. relations with North Korea. And it certainly appears that PDJT made big gains on Sunday. Remember “Peace is the Prize.” The world is waiting to see the outcome.
North Korea has released a remarkable 16-minute video that was broadcast in their country. It simply overflows with praise for the meeting at Panmunjom. The tone, narration, music, and cinematography all point to selling the public that a new era is dawning. The full video is embedded at the end of the article.
Keep in mind that setting up the meeting was all done in less than a day and half. This wasn’t some event planned and choreographed months in advance. The security aspects of this alone were undoubtedly daunting for both sides. PDJT thought it might help so he took the risk and proposed the meeting on Twitter. Within an hour North Korean officials had contacted the US to see if the offer was real. I guess they monitor PDJT’s Twitter account. The rest, as they say, is history.
BTW in case you missed it, Twitter is now proposing to censor PDJT’s account.
This is the kind of leadership the world needs. This is what the process of making peace looks like. An incredible and truly historic moment in time.
Please note the incredible honor that North Korea bestowed on PDJT by referring to him as “revered.” This is a term normally reserved for their Supreme Leader.
Chairman Kim acknowledges the courage that it took to propose this meeting. And courageous it was. Breaking from the practices of the past is not the safe way to conduct diplomacy. PDJT’s style of personal diplomacy is breaking down barriers.
The inability of others to predict where this will go is because most of them cannot think outside the box. PDJT is a fixer of problems. Thinking outside the box is normal for him.
As any rational person would expect, the road to the goal, Peace, will not be an easy one nor will it be short. Trust continues to need to be built. PDJT took a giant step in that direction by proposing the meeting.
Keeping in mind that this was broadcast in North Korea, their leaders are raising the expectations of their people for a better future. Their people know they are poor relative to their counterparts in South Korea. This puts more pressure on the North Korean leaders to succeed.
This is a North Korean propaganda video. It is unprecedented in its praise for the process that has been undertaken and, in particular, for our President. Could they backtrack? Sure they could. But they are raising everyone’s expectations for success including their own people.

The most amazing thing is that this is what Kim is telling HIS OWN PEOPLE. This is propaganda intended for the North Korean people and Kim is selling the idea of denuclearization and peace with South Korea and the US. INCREDIBLE!
This strongly suggests a sincere effort on Kim’s part to achieve a deal. That deal would revolve around security guarantees and aid and investment.
Now if we can only keep the warmongers in Congress from screwing this up.
