Over the weekend Chinese “lead” negotiator Liu He said China sought “calm” negotiations and opposed any escalation in the ongoing trade war..
“We are willing to solve the problem through consultation and cooperation with a calm attitude. We firmly oppose the escalation of the trade war.”
Liu He noted that the trade war is not conducive to China, the U.S. and the interests of people all over the world.
The Chinese are stalling and playing the delay game hoping their proxies in our government, media, multi-national companies, etc. can derail the America First agenda. Their idea of a “calm resolution” is rolling tanks over people to encourage those who oppose them to obey.
Let’s take a closer look at what is really going on here. Liu He, who is still often referred to as the chief trade negotiator, is no longer that. He was removed from this position in the spring when the Chinese abandoned the deal that had been negotiated up to that point. Whether the Chinese were ever really negotiating in good faith is unlikely.
China’s Commerce Minister Zhong Shan is now the person actually calling the shots in the negotiations. Zhong is the dragon mask. Zhong’s role is to harden the position of the communist regime. Zhong’s placement in the talks tells the true nature of the Chinese position, that is, Trade War!
China’s actions with respect to the tariffs they recently levied tell the true story. The Chinese are trying to interfere in next year’s election with tariffs that are targeted at states that PDJT will need to win the election.
Will this alter PDJT’s approach? Unlikely! Despite what the Chinese communists and their Democratic partners have in store to punish the U.S. economy, PDJT remains dedicated to all the people of America and to making America great again.
And yes, I said Democratic partners. What Democrat is calling out the Chinese for the damage they are trying to inflict on the people of America? Their silence is telling. They are in bed with the Chinese (and the multi-nationals) in hopes of retaking the White House next year. Quite simply this is a battle between the people of America and those who would impose top-down control over America.
In the final analysis, a respect for the rule of law and intellectual property combined with an end to trade barriers will benefit all the people on the planet. This would create a level playing field where the best entrepreneur, the best innovator would reap the financial benefits while the world enjoyed the benefits of the products produced at the lowest price. This is true liberty and freedom.
So why is Liu He doing what he is doing? Liu He’s role is to present the panda mask in the hopes of making it more difficult for PDJT to take aggressive actions against China. This leads directly to Liu’s statements over the weekend. They are trying to stem the damage being done to the Chinese economy.
Currently nimble companies are finding other countries to operate in. China’s One-Road initiative is disappearing and Beijing is burning through cash subsidizing their current manufacturing base. The value of the Chinese yuan has reached its lowest levels in more than a decade.
PDJT hit back at China with public questions about Beijing purchasing U.S. agricultural products; a previous promise which the Chinese have failed to deliver on. I am sure PDJT knew that those promises were not worth anything. However, the lies have a value in showing the Panda’s mask of duplicity. PDJT did this while announcing a trade deal with Japan where agricultural products were a visible part of the deal. PDJT’s sense of timing is uncanny.
PDJT also pointed out the failure of China to follow through on their promise to interdict fentanyl shipments that have had such a devastating effect in this country. Again, where are the Democrats in standing up for Americans? Where are Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer? Their silence is deafening.

All of the heavily pushed media narratives today surrounding Liu He statements are simply Wall Street multinationals, through their media allies, trying to fend off the confrontation between the U.S. and China. There are trillions at stake.
This is a battle between the U.S. and China, but also between U.S. multinationals who are financially positioned/vested on the side of Beijing. The U.S. Wall Street multinationals are trying to protect their Chinese investments by pushing a narrative that China is open to honest and fair negotiations; they are not.
We can expect to see this standoff to continue. China hopes to get someone else to negotiate with in 2021. I am sure they would be delighted if Biden were President after their substantial investment in his son’s company. Let’s make sure that is not the case. America needs to unite behind the President.
