Australia has an eSafety Commissioner named Julie Inman-Grant. Yes, that is a real title. At the World Economic Forum summit in Davos, Switzerland, Inman-Grant outlined a new on-line era where free speech would need to be “recalibrated,” and the ability to be free from something called “on-line violence.”
Just what does she mean by a recalibration of what free speech is? There is little doubt that this is akin to the Ministry of Truth that Joe Biden’s henchmen tried to force down our throats. If your speech supports the regime, it is okay. If not, it needs to be expunged. And you need to be re-educated.
There is a consistent pattern present. Violence is being redefined. If your speech is something that leftists do not support, it will be called violence. However, violence in support of leftist ideals will be people just exercising their rights to free speech. Truly George Orwell’s 1984 has arrived.
These people believe that the natural tendencies of mankind are so evil that it is not safe to allow people to be free. Of course, they themselves as the organizers are above reproach. They truly believe that they are made of better stuff and, as such, have the right to impose their views on everyone else.
This is a clear declaration of war against those who have different viewpoints than the regime. Our minds are exactly what they want to control. This is true whether one is in Australia or here in America. Remember, Australia is often the jumping off point for the imposition of various governmental control systems also known as totalitarianism.
Perhaps the Babylon Bee has the best approach to this insanity.
