Highlights & Lowlights

John Fetterman, also known as Uncle Fester, released a note from his doctor that he is cleared to perform all duties in the US Senate.   The note said Fetterman spoke intelligently without cognitive deficits. His speech was normal.  Hmmm.

While he might not have the same problems as Joe Biden, his campaign stops have been littered with examples of Fetterman having issues speaking.  Just recently, an MSNBC reporter disclosed that Fetterman had difficulty understanding her without a closed caption monitor.

The buzz phrase is Fetterman is having “auditory processing” issues. Just what does that mean?  It is not a hearing issue.  Fetterman hears just fine.  It means that Fetterman has trouble mentally processing what he’s hearing into coherent thoughts in his head. That seems like a rather big deal for someone who wants to be a US senator.  If you can’t understand what other senators are saying, that’s a problem.

Is Fetterman’s doctor auditioning to give Joe Biden a cognitive test?

Go woke, go broke.  Retailer Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (NASDAQ: BBBY) has been staggered by poor management, poor inventory control, lack of store upgrades and overwhelming competition. It has been one of America’s most troubled retailers for the past two years.

This is CNN speaking.  The company took a nosedive after they dropped Mike Lindell’s MyPillow items.  Their stock price is 10% of what it was two years ago.  CNN believes they could go bankrupt if there is a chance the economy could continue its downturn.

We are in recession which, of course, CNN is not allowed to say.  It will get worse.

BB&B is toast.  Another victim of woke corporatism.  They played right into the hands of those who would destroy western capitalism.

Inflation forces the IRS to adjust its tax parameters under federal law each year. Next year’s changes will be bold.

The standard deduction will climb to $27,700 for married couples and $13,850 for individuals, both also up about 7% from this year.  This is the largest automatic adjustment to the standard deduction since core features of the tax system were first indexed to inflation in 1985. Congress significantly expanded the deduction beyond those automatic changes, most recently in the 2017 tax law, when it was nearly doubled.”

Reagan, Baker and O’Neill made it law. Thank Trump for the 2017 law that doubled the deduction.

A recent review of Democratic accomplishments has produced a list of items that the Democrats can run on during the mid-terms.  I am certain that an aggressive advertising campaign can produce results.

  • Afghani women don’t have to go to school anymore…or work…or make decisions.  They now can live a life free of such distractions.
  • The FBI has been successfully transformed from a law enforcement agency into an agency that suppresses the right to life of unborn children.  The woke no longer have to worry about being triggered by people praying at Planned Parenthood centers.
  • The Democrats singlehandedly have raised the standard of living of Ukrainian politicians by 500%.  President Zelenskyy has never had it so good and is willing to vote as many times as is needed to keep the money flowing.
  • COVID-vaccine mandates have caused COVID to become fully integrated into the population.  In fact, the boosted are 5 times more likely to get COVID now, a remarkable success.
  • The Democrats have helped more families to need supplemental assistance with food gathering.  In fact, for the first time in the country’s history more than 20% of American families now received assistance in this area.  This is a remarkable accomplishment towards their plan of moving all families onto the Democratic plantation and needs to be trumpeted far and wide.

I am certain that with carefully targeted ads on these items, the Democrats can show the whole country what good stewards they have been while controlling both houses of Congress and the Oval Office.
