We live in interesting times. The pushback from Kevin McCarthy to a reporter’s question demonstrates a beginning willingness to step away from politics as usual in Washington. Perhaps we will owe a bigger debt of gratitude to the 20 rebels who held up his getting the speakership.
So, Bull-Schiff and Fang Swalwell were only taken off the intel committee. That helps to clarify things a bit. All the noise coming from the Democrats made it seem like these two were being sentenced to no committee assignments.
Interesting. After the fight over the speakership, perhaps McCarthy feels he has greater freedom to stand his ground against lying, corrupt Democrats and their Big Media lapdogs because he knows both Trump and 20 MAGA Republican congressmen will have his back and also won’t back down. Has McCarthy become a born-again warrior for the truth? Hope that’s it. We shall see.
