The professional grievance industry, you know the one that finds something wrong with everything that is good in America, has a problem. And it is a World Cup problem. Hundreds of thousands of visitors, who are here from around the world for the World Cup, are discovering just how amazing the United States is. And social media is the vehicle that allows them to rave about it.
Because of social media, Gen Zers are gladly streaming their experiences across our great country, expressing their love and delight of all things American. Freddy, who has a child-like awe of America, has posted numerous items. Here’s one such post
Good morning from Mobile Bay, Alabama.
Our roadtrip towards Houston continues. If everything goes to plan, we’re making it to New Orleans today. pic.twitter.com/bgeVGnIyCx

This Brit has come to understand why others fought for—and died for—our independence, and why we are the best country in the world, hands down.
More American adoration. I love it and I’m so grateful for these people sharing their stories. pic.twitter.com/bRHqmGwi8S

Then there is Sean from Scotland. Sean has been traversing the country for the World Cup, going from Texas, to New York, to Boston.
Sean is a great following on X, and his travels and videos got him an appearance with Fox News’ The Will Cain Show. When Will asked Sean what his favorite thing is about America, Sean was effusive in his praise of its people:
Absolutely, the people. I have come here a couple of times now, and whenever I’m here, the people are so warm and generous. I have a great time. The people here, across different states, living in different parts of America. Different beliefs, different politics. I’ve always met really kind and generous people here. That’s the one thing I always take away with me.
In addition, there is visible patriotism everywhere. And Freedom 250 events are highlighting that.
Sundance notes:
Not only is the American flag being celebrated, but ironically European national flags are being waved everywhere in celebration of nationalism – and the people waving them don’t have to worry about being harassed by police or being arrested for it.
This is a new experience for young Europeans and they are overwhelmed. The joy is evident and it’s more than a little awesome to see all of the videos capturing the thrill of it all.
Will the EU have to pass a law banning anyone under 35 from visiting America “for safety” and to “protect the children?”
It’s high time we stop being embarrassed about our exceptional nature. Let’s start being proud of America again. Because when it matters most, when it really counts, when it’s really needed, there’s a whole bunch of people all around this world of ours that need to feel the type of optimism that walks with a swagger.
God bless America!
