Hissy Fit On Meet The Press

Comments Off on Hissy Fit On Meet The Press

Senator Ron Johnson appeared on Meet The Press on Sunday with Chuck Todd.  Ostensibly this was to talk about certain comments Johnson made about the Ukraine hoax. Todd obviously was trying to propagate a Democratic narrative about Republicans having problems with the President’s conversation with Ukraine’s President.

Todd very quickly lost all control of the interview when Sen. Johnson refused to kowtow to Todd’s scripted narrative.  Sen. Johnson had come prepared for Todd’s efforts to discredit the truth.

With his extreme bias being exposed with every second that the interview continued, Todd had a hissy fit.  He tried everything including talking over Johnson and shouting to attempt to get back to his pre-scripted narrative.  At one point Todd tried trying to paint Sen. Johnson as a crazy “Fox News conspiracy theorist.”  All of this was to no avail.

Kangaroo Court

Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX) blasted House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) on Sunday.   Schiff held closed door meetings for the testimony of ICIG Atkinson and Envoy Volker last week. Then Schiff would not allow transcripts of their testimony to be  made public. Why?

It has been reported from other sources, notably Fox News reporter Catherine Herridge, that ICIG Michael Atkinson testified that the so called ‘whistle-blower’ did not inform Atkinson that the whistleblower gossipmonger and his legal team had previously contacted staff working for Adam Schiff before he submitted his complaint.

When questioned on this earlier in the week, Schiff had denied that such contact took place.  The Washington Post gave this claim a 4-Pinocchio’s rating.  Later he reversed himself claiming that he “had misunderstood” the reporter’s question.

So, again, why are the transcripts being withheld?  Ratcliffe said that he would love to tell you about both interviews (Volker and Atkinson).  The problem?  Schiff won’t allow it.  Why? Ratcliffe noted,

Is The ICIG Guilty of A Corrupt Act?

Comments Off on Is The ICIG Guilty of A Corrupt Act?

It was widely known that in order to submit an ICIG whistleblower report that the information had to be firsthand knowledge.  No hearsay or gossip was permitted.  It was stated unequivocally that submitting second-hand knowledge would result in the complaint being rejected.

As Sean Davis at The Federalist noted,

“The [Intelligence Community Inspector General] cannot transmit information via the ICPWA based on an employee’s second-hand knowledge of wrongdoing,” the previous form stated under the bolded heading “FIRST-HAND INFORMATION REQUIRED.” “This includes information received from another person, such as when an employee informs you that he/she witnessed some type of wrongdoing.”

“If you think that wrongdoing took place, but can provide nothing more than second-hand or unsubstantiated assertions, [the Intelligence Community Inspector General] will not be able to process the complaint or information for submission as an ICWPA,” the form concluded.

Coup

      Comments Off on Coup

The media is running with the Democratic storyline that the Democrats just want to govern and provide a good country for their fellow Americans.  They really do not want to impeach the President but that PDJT has left them little choice.  Hogwash!

The Democrats and the media have been colluding to overthrow the Trump administration since before PDJT was inaugurated.  As PDJT said on Tuesdsay, this is nothing short of an attempted coup.

A Whistleblower

      Comments Off on A Whistleblower

“Whistleblower” is the media’s word of the week. The MSM are still working tirelessly to overturn the 2016 election.

What is a whistleblower?  There are many definitions for whistleblower, some legal and others not so. However, a generally accepted definition is that a whistleblower is a person who comes forward and shares his/her direct knowledge of wrongdoing that he/she believes is happening in an organization or government.   A whistleblower could be an employee, contractor, or a supplier who directly becomes aware of illegal activities.

Recently we have heard a lot about the term whistleblower because of desperate activities by the Democrats in our nation’s capital.  They are afraid that a lot of their malfeasance is going to be exposed in the near future.  And, most likely, it will be.  To create a smokescreen, they manufactured a “whistleblower” complaint against the President.

To do this they first changed the rules for filing a whistleblower complaint within the Intelligence community.  The IGIC (Inspector General of the Intelligence Community) “decided” to allow secondhand complaints.  That is, the whistleblower did not have to have direct knowledge of the supposed illicit activity.  Two days after this change, the current complaint roiling Washington was filed. Coincidence?

CBS’ 60 Minutes Impeachment Coverage Begins With A Lie

Comments Off on CBS’ 60 Minutes Impeachment Coverage Begins With A Lie

CBS Reporter Scott Pelley led the CBS broadcast of the House impeachment “inquiry” of PDJT with a stunning claim:

“Tonight, “60 Minutes” has obtained a letter that indicates the government whistleblower who set off the impeachment inquiry of President Trump is under federal protection, because he or she fears for their safety.”

This is quite a claim.  Obviously it conjures up the image of the witness protection program and Mafia-style evildoers stalking this person with intent to do bodily harm and more.  The only problem?  It wasn’t true.  Apparently Pelley “misconstrued” the contents of a letter sent by the “whistleblower’s” attorney.

Bizarro Schiff

“Sequels are rarely better than the original. If we have learned anything over the last six days, as the feeding frenzy over the whistleblower has overtaken official Washington, it is this: Democrats want to impeach President Trump and they do not care if the facts support their cause.

“After more than two years of Democrats’ hyperventilating, Mr. Trump was cleared of collusion and conspiracy. Democrats and their media allies overhyped their claims and won Pulitzer Prizes along the way. But they failed in their objective, and soon we will learn more about the origins of the Russia collusion hoax and FISA warrant abuses.

“Instead of overhyping this story, Democrats should have been more careful and measured. But they could not help themselves.”

Spoiled Teenagers

Is Joe Biden being cast aside?  Have the Democrats decided that he cannot be their candidate just like they did with Bernie Sanders in 2016?  Is the “whistleblower” complaint part of a strategy by the Democrats to discredit Biden and edge him aside in favor of somebody else (anybody else except Sanders, of course)?

Biden seems very exposed in all of this.  Biden is on video boasting how he got the Ukrainian prosecutor fired.  Biden claimed that Obama was in on it.  This prosecutor was the one that was looking into corruption in the company where Hunter Biden, his son, was a director.  It was reported in 2016 Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, in his investigation of corruption involving Burisma Holdings, a natural gas company, identified Hunter Biden as the recipient of over $3,000,000 from the company.

Red Flag Warning

Professor William Jacobson had an interesting piece last week in which he made the point that “The investigators need to be investigated.” In that piece he addressed the utmost priority need for an investigation into the attempted coup.  In his piece Professor Jacobson noted,

Whether Robert Mueller was a mere figurehead or in control, he was a participant. So while he was a sorry figure in the congressional hearings, and his appearance did substantial damage to Democrat and media plans, the gravity of what happened should not be lessened. It almost worked.

The media, of course, was a full participant in what happened. Just when you thought the major organizations who control almost all of popular and social media couldn’t get any worse, they do (emphasis added).  This all takes place while high tech companies put the thumb on the scale by penalizing non-liberal content.

Winners and Losers

Comments Off on Winners and Losers

The media likes to list winners and losers from every confrontation between the two main-stream political parties.  The media’s views of these events often lean towards their own particular political ideologies.

Without a doubt the Republicans were the winners and the Democrats were the losers from the Mueller hearings on Wednesday.  Even far left media outlets like CNN agreed.  Chris Cillizza at CNN noted,

If Democrats hoped that Mueller would easily bat away Republican attacks — on him and on his report — they were sorely disappointed in the opening moments of his testimony. Mueller seemingly contradicted himself (and the report) when he told Georgia Rep. Doug Collins, the ranking Republican member on the committee, that collusion and conspiracy were not the same thing.
