A Political Persecution

Maybe when you saw this headline you thought I might be going to address the January 6^th political prisoners in the Gitmo in Washington DC. I am not. The political persecution that I will address is the sham of a trial going on in Kenosha, Wisconsin. That’s the one where Kyle Rittenhouse is on trial for defending his life from several individuals who were intent on doing him great bodily harm. Just as with the George Zimmerman case, charges should never have been brought.

THOUSANDS protested Monday in New York City against the Biden and DeBlasio vaccine mandates.

THE CROWD WAS ABSOLUTELY HUGE!
The municipal workers marched across the Brooklyn Bridge and held a rally.

At one point the protesters started chanting, “Let’s Go Brandon!”

This is old-fashioned populism at work.

It was a disastrous weekend for Southwest Airlines. Across Saturday and Sunday, they canceled more than 2,100 flights, about a quarter of their total. In a statement, Southwest blamed bad weather and air traffic control problems. But the Federal Aviation Administration says, no, there haven’t been any air traffic control issues since last Friday.

However, on Wednesday Tucker Carlson discussed the directive by AG Merrick Garland for the FBI in conjunction with the National Security Division to investigate any parent who opposes the teaching of Critical Race Theory and the masking of kids in school. There will undoubtedly be many such discussions across the country in the coming months. Few will be done as masterfully as Carlson’s monologue.

The occupant of the White House is now threatening the unvaccinated. This is the same tactic Hitler used against the Jews in Germany that led to the Holocaust. Australia has already implemented house arrest in some sections of that country for those who are not vaccinated. How long before that becomes the order of the day here?

Another Media Hoax

Late last week America was treated to another media hoax. Station KFOR in Oklahoma ran a piece where a rural doctor claimed that patients were taking horse de-wormer, Ivermectin (IVM), in such quantities that emergency rooms and ambulances were being deluged with overdose cases.

“There’s a reason you have to have a doctor to get a prescription for this stuff, because it can be dangerous.”

Dr. McElyea said patients are packing his eastern and southeastern Oklahoma hospitals after taking ivermectin doses meant for a full-sized horse, because they believed false claims the horse de-wormer (IVM) could fight COVID-19.

“The ERs are so backed up that gunshot victims were having hard times getting to facilities where they can get definitive care and be treated.”

No, this post is not about the 2020 election. The biggest lie perpetrated on the American public in 2020 is about COVID. While one can make a good argument for where COVID was created being the biggest lie of the year, certainly the stories about hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and Ivermectin (IVM) could easily fill that role.
