Insurrection

Capitol Police arrested 9 members of Stephen Colbert’s staff on Thursday night for busting into the Longworth House Office Building. This sounds a bit like Watergate to me. Or were they scouting the place out for a potential insurrection when the Republicans regain control of the House?

The cops shooed them away once. However, the group surfaced later after the Capitol complex was closed to the public. Apparently they took pictures and video around the offices of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Lauren Boebert (R-CO). Sounds like a prelude to insurrection to me. When will the FBI Swat teams be knocking down their front doors?

They were arrested and charged with illegal entry. They were arrested near Boebert’s office. How long will they have to remain in the Capitol gulag? Oh, I forgot. They are part of the PR arm of the Democratic Party. They were released in the morning while others from January 6^th still remain under arrest for walking through the Capitol Building more than a year ago. Let’s remember Colbert’s people actually broke in.

Are NATO Personnel Trapped In Azovstal?

A few weeks ago it would have been branded as some far-out conspiracy theory that military personnel from NATO countries including the US were directly involved in Ukraine. I am certain that the newly constituted “Ministry of Truth” in the DHS would have been at the forefront of such denials. They would be claiming it to be Russian disinformation.

However, reports persist that “foreign mercenaries” are directly involved in frontline fighting. In particular, a core part of the Nazi Azov Battalion continues to hold out in the bowels of the vast Azovstal steel complex in the port city of Mariupol. Rumors are that Azov itself includes large numbers of non-Ukrainians and that it was trained by the Special Forces of the US, UK, France, and possibly other NATO countries. There are persistent rumors that NATO personnel are trapped in Azovstal.

The potential takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk continues to create meltdowns all over leftist world. The very idea that people could speak freely about political, social, economic and other issues would potentially cripple the Left’s ability to control the narratives that the public gets to hear. Listening to people on the Left, one would think that the world was about to end, that liberty and freedom are now expired products of a bygone era.

Exposing a coup.

The Elon Musk/Twitter saga has been most interesting to watch. After purchasing a 9.2% share of Twitter, he then proposed buying the company outright.

Twitter acted to prevent the takeover by using a poison pill approach. This would involve issuing shares at half price if any investor would gain ownership of more than 15% of the outstanding shares.

Twitter’s actions (poison pill offer) publicized Twitter’s desire to censor free speech.

What is this the sole purpose of all of Elon Musk’s actions?

PPI Sets New Record

The Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) released March price data [Available Here] showing a dramatic 11.2% increase year-over-year in Final Demand products at the wholesale level. This is the fifth consecutive month with the highest rate of inflation the PPI ever recorded.

The PPI (Producer Price Index) tracks wholesale price changes. This includes Origination (commodity), Intermediate (processing), and Final (to wholesale).

Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy once again has raised the possibility about chemical weapons use by Russia. Zelenskyy wants more sanctions against Russia to prevent the possible use of such weapons. Such discussions of chemical weapons use is the instrument that Zelenskyy is currently using to solicit more support for Ukraine in its war against Russia.

As I have said and Tookman echoes, do not believe anything coming from our elite politicians without verifying it from independent sources. The latest assault on the English language and many others is the use of the word autocracy. No one has been more autocratic in their governance than all the western leaders who triggered shutdowns, mandates, forced business closures and ultimately mandatory vaccines and vaccine passports. None of those rules, regulations and mandates connected in any way to COVID came from democratic authorization. None of them were passed through the legislative process. Every last one of them came from unilateral fiat and powers grabbed as a result of emergency declarations.
