Graham Platner is the Democratic candidate for the US Senate in Maine. Platner won 72% of the Democratic primary vote. However, Platner has been plagued by one scandal after another. It appears that the “Bidening “ of Platner will succeed.
Initial polling showed Platner doing very well against Republican Senator Susan Collins. Collins trailed in all polls a while back. The Democrats were apparently willing to overlook and downplay Platner’s obvious negatives if it gave them a chance to win a Senate seat.
So, what changed? What’s changed is that Platner’s polling numbers have cratered. All of a sudden, the Democratic leadership has discovered that they have a moral standard that was invisible before. Public polls show him beginning to trail Collins significantly. God knows how bad their private polls are
Let’s be reminded that much of what has come out recently was known to Democratic leadership. These accusations were not he said, she said. There were dates, times, witnesses, contemporaneous notes, and communications including social media posts and text messages from Platner himself. As noted yesterday, the Democrats were trying to sell a piece of sludge to the voters in Maine.
Platner himself has seen the ending. Most people understand the dynamic with Graham Platner has come down to price. How much are the Communists going to have to pay to get the Nazi rapist to leave the Maine senatorial race. Former Communist presidential candidate Bernie Sanders cashed out for a couple of new houses and various indulgences within the party apparatus. Sanders is also reportedly counseling Platner on terms.

It is clear that the civil war in the Democratic Party is well underway. In this case, the Democrat establishment appears to be winning this battle. The Maine Democratic Party appears to be trying to engage in damage control.
Platner’s video is a direct attack on that effort. And let’s remember all this is occurring because the Nazi rapist is more popular than Democrat governor Janet Mills.
But let’s always remember.
Does anyone think that this is an op to place someone on the ballot that the voters would not vote for in a primary?
The modern Democrat party is the most anti-democratic, misogynist sewer I’ve ever seen in politics. And yet, like brainwashed seals, there will be crowds of glassy-eyed, mind-numbed true believers lined up to cheer and applaud whoever the party installs to replace the Nazi.
