SAVE America

There are many among the MAGA faithful who believe that the SAVE America Act will never make it across the finish line.  PDJT has made this a centerpiece of his work to restore faith in America and in how our elections work.  If it doesn’t pass, if the political power brokers stop this integrity effort, America as a stable republic with secure elections is finished.

The problem with getting it passed is the Senate.  The House has passed several versions of this legislation which would require proof of citizenship to REGISTER to vote as well as the showing of an ID to actually vote.  These are basic requirements that most countries around the world already have in place.

The Communists Democrats have vehemently opposed these common-sense requirements.  Some elite Democratic lawmakers (Senator Slotkin for one) have even told the public why they oppose such basic election integrity measures.  The Democrats cannot win elections if illegal aliens, dead people, etc. are prevented from voting.

On Wednesday, House Republicans once again made a move to get this legislation across the finish line.  The House passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 217-209.  This is “must pass” legislation.

How does this help the cause?

The House first approved a special rules resolution to attach the SAVE America Act to the NDAA, overcoming fierce Democrat opposition. Every Democrat voted against that procedural measure, with only one Republican, Rep. Randy Fine from Florida, joining them.  When the vote on the combined bill was taken, two non-Republican House members joined the Republicans in passing the bill.

Democrat Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) and Rep. Kevin Kiley (I-CA) voted in favor of the measure, while Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) was the lone Republican to vote against it.  Massie’s vote was in opposition to the US and Israel working together on defense technology.

Will this approach yield a positive result?  Only time will tell.  What will the Senate do to avoid passing a must-pass bill?
