Kamala Harris Off Limits

Once Kamala Harris was announced as the VP candidate (actually this happened before such an announcement), a concerned group that included Planned Parenthood sent a letter to the media indicating that critically questioning any woman especially a woman of color who was named as Biden’s running mate was off limits.

The letter was actually a 32-page “guide” that detailed how the media would be allowed to cover Biden’s running mate. It has been made clear that the group would come after any media outlet that dared to question Harris in any way that they felt was not appropriate.

Cannon Hinnant

Even two weeks after he died not many people recognize the name Cannon Hinnant. A week after George Floyd died, just about everybody knew his name. George Floyd died of a drug overdose. Cannon Hinnant was actually murdered. Floyd’s death was used to start an insurrection in this country. Cannon Hinnant’s death might truly ignite a conversation about the value of life.

The facts are not in dispute. Five year old Cannon was playing outside in the street at about 5:30 PM on Sunday, August 9^th. Multiple eye witnesses said that 25-year-old Darius Sessoms came out of his house. He walked up to Cannon and fired a gun at Cannon’s head from point blank range as Cannon’s two older sisters, 7 and 8 years old, watched. When police arrived, they found Cannon suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers and emergency medical services personnel tried to save Cannon’s life before he was taken to the nearby Wilson Medical Center, but he did not survive his injuries. This is the most appalling child murder in modern history in this country ...

Bye, Bye, First Amendment

On Saturday the mayor of Washington, DC violated the First Amendment rights of some truly peaceful protesters by having them arrested because they used chalk to draw a Black Pre-born Lives Matter message on the public sidewalk outside a Planned Parenthood Clinic.

In a clear victory for religious liberty, the Supreme Court twice decided, by a 7-2 margin, that religious liberties still exist in this country. In the first case the Little Sisters of the Poor were vindicated by not having to violate their religious beliefs over the sanctity of life.

In a country where three-word slogans are popular, none garners more recognition right now than “black lives matter.” This has become the mantra that has destroyed sections of our major cities. And anyone who suggests that “all lives matter” or “blue lives matter” is putting his livelihood and, in some cases, his very life at risk.

The Democrats and their allies in the media are good at generating slogans like “black lives matter.” There have been recent events where people have literally fallen down and worshipped at the feet of those who support the organization Black Lives Matter (BLM).

Pelosi Caves

On Sunday, the news coming out of Washington was that rank-and-file Democrats AND Republicans in the Senate, with the help of the Treasury Secretary, had drafted a bipartisan bill to help Americans through the coronavirus crisis. Sen. Schumer (D-NY), minority leader in the Senate, praised it on CNN saying, “to my delight and surprise there has been a great deal of bipartisan cooperation.”

On Sunday evening Pelosi swooped in from her vacation in California and threw an IED into the process. Schumer received orders from Rep. Nancy Pelosi to reject it. Like good stormtroopers Schumer and the other Democratic Senators snapped to attention and followed orders. Schumer immediately reversed course and called the bill drafted by Democrats and Republicans “a highly partisan Republican bill.” It is amazing how easily politicians can lie with a straight face to the TV cameras.

Most of the left has been driven insane by President Trump’s election. As many people are aware, PDJT’s ongoing successes has created a new mental condition known as Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). TDS is the acute onset of mental derangement in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies and the presidency of Donald John Trump. TDS makes it extremely difficult for a person afflicted to act in the manner of a normal, rational person.

Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Senate Minority Leader, has now demonstrated to the entire world that he is afflicted with this mental condition. Schumer has lost any sense of good judgment. On Wednesday outside the Supreme Court at a rally in favor of murdering unborn children, Schumer was reduced to shouting out threats against the justices of the Supreme Court. How can this be the action of a normal, rational person? Has Chuck Schumer lost his mind? You be the judge.

The absolute hypocrisy of the Democrats was on full display again this week. Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer blasted the Trump administration over their request for $2.5 billion to fight the possible pandemic posed by the coronavirus (COVID-19). According to Schumer much more money ($8.5 billion) is needed to protect the lives of Americans.

At the same time Schumer was doing this, he led the Democrats in the Senate to block a vote on a bill protecting the lives of babies born alive. Schumer apparently is okay with allowing babies to “die on the table” if their mothers do not want them. Why is Schumer unwilling to protect the lives of the most vulnerable among us?

Truth, Justice and Liberty

Wow! What a week it was! John Fitzgerald Kennedy would not recognize the party he once led. The Democrats have abandoned any and all obligations to truth, justice and liberty. The Democrats showed the nation how incompetent, petulant and childish they are.

On Monday the Democrats demonstrated that they could not run a caucus in a small state (Iowa) and have the results reported in a timely fashion. They blamed the problem on “technical issues” in the reporting software. This software had been developed by some Clinton operatives from the 2016 election. It was funded in part by Pete Buttigieg, one of the candidates.

March For Life

On Friday President Trump will become the first sitting President to attend the annual March For Life rally in Washington in person.

The March for Life is an annual rally peacefully protesting both the practice and legality of abortion. It is held in Washington, D.C. on or around the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, a landmark decision issued in 1973 by the United States Supreme Court legalizing abortion nationwide. The march’s stated mission is to “End abortion by uniting, educating, and mobilizing pro-life people in the public square.”
