Catholic League Stands Up

The following is one of a number of recent events that may indicate that more and more Americans and organizations within America are beginning to rouse themselves from their slumber. They are beginning to push back against the obvious corruption and hypocrisy going on within the elitist ranks of some of our highest profile businesses.

William Donohue, President of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, sent a letter to Robert Manfred, commissioner for Major League Baseball (MLB). No matter what your religious affiliation is, I take my hat off to the Catholic League for this letter. It skewers MLB’s decision to move the All Star game out of majority black Atlanta to white Denver. This decision was due to the Georgia’s new voting law requiring a proper ID. MLB caved to pressure from leftist extremist groups that blatantly lied about the ramifications of the law.

The letter lays out in detail the stunning hypocrisy of MLB.

Jury Deliberations

The trial of Officer Derek Chauvin has entered the verdict watch stage. Closing arguments have been made. The case has been turned over to the jury. To refresh, Officer Chauvin has been charged with murder and manslaughter for trying to save George Floyd’s life after he had overdosed on drugs.

In a reasonable and fair world, the charges against Officer Chauvin would never have been brought. However, just as they did in Baltimore with the Freddie Gray death in custody, these charges are a political show. The charges were brought in an attempt to mollify the mob. This is the left’s attempt to prove to the country that anyone, regardless of the good that they are trying to do, can be put away in a cage simply because the left wants it that way.

Go Woke, Go Broke

The President of the United States decided to punish the citizens of one state because their legislature passed mild election reforms which were small steps towards ensuring free and fair elections. Despite press secretary Psaki’s claims otherwise, the Avatar in the White House came out strongly in support of removing the MLB All Star game from Atlanta.

The New Normal

More and more people are waking up to the fact that fear of COVID-19 is being used to fundamentally transform America. First amendment liberties were stripped away across the country to fight a virus that is no more deadly than the flu. In fact, as more and more data comes out, it turns out that the only people who should be really concerned about this virus are the same people who are more susceptible to complications from the flu.

However, the left is not yet ready to give up.

(VIA CBS) “We’ve been told that this virus will disappear. But it will not,” Dr. William Schaffner, a professor at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and medical director of the National Foundation For Infectious Diseases, tells CBS News.

“We need to control it. We need to diminish its impact. But it’s going to be around hassling us for the foreseeable future. And by that I mean — years.”

The Rise of Naziism

Several times over the past year I have mentioned the striking parallels between the activities of the Democratic Party since Obama was elected and the rise of the Nazis in Germany during the 1920’s and 1930’s. These parallels are being noticed by more people. Steve McCann has produced two excellent columns over at American Thinker on this subject. I will be borrowing from his efforts here.

There is little doubt about the Nazi tactics being used by the left to fundamentally transform America from a constitutional republic into a socialist/communist state with one-party, totalitarian rule. The Democrats continue to try to exploit fears of “systemic racism” and “white supremacy” to advance their agenda of controlling the public just as the Nazis did almost a century ago. Witness the barbed wire enclosure of the Capitol in the face of a supposed imminent threat to the constitutional order of the country. Witness the charges of “insurrection” against people who peacefully protested the stealing of the 2020 election.

Kneel In Front Of Your Rulers

The following says so much about the individuals who were working in the DOJ during the last few decades. It also points out and exposes the totalitarian nature of the left.

Glenn Kirschner, a former federal prosecutor who now works at least occasionally for MSNBC, wants all businesses in this country to take a pledge that states in part that “The 2020 presidential election was free and fair, and produced accurate, reliable results.”

The “Democracy Pledge” is nothing of the sort. It is an attempt to cement a lie into existence. This pledge is clearly a violation of the 1st and 5th Amendments. The Pledge also includes an affirmation supporting democracy as part of supporting this egregious falsehood.

More and more people are noticing that Beijing Biden will not take spontaneous questions from the media. During the Trump administration, the most transparent administration in my lifetime, PDJT routinely took questions from the media. This was on an almost daily basis whenever PDJT departed from the White House to go somewhere or arrived at a location where there were members of the press corps waiting. These impromptu press conferences often lasted 20, 30, 40 minutes. While some members of the press may have tried to trip up PDJT, the fact is there was give and take in these sessions that has not been seen between a president and the press corps in a very long time. ...

By now most of us who actually have followed the science know just how ridiculous the various mandates to “keep us safe” have been. Dr. Tom Woods has been at the forefront of actually revealing through statistical surveys just what the effects of some of these restrictions are and are not. While I am sure that many of us are tired of the COVID nonsense, the frauds in our government agencies “protecting us” continue to hype nonsense. So, it is important to continue to refute their insanity.

This administration is killing jobs and exporting American jobs to other countries. The Democrats are anti-American and are evil, racist and corrupt. They do not care about Americans. They only care about power and money.

Ford announced this week that it plans to move a major project from its Avon Lake plant in northeast Ohio to Mexico. Ford thus reneged a promise made during the Trump administration to invest $900 million in the new project to build an electric vehicle there. The original agreement called for a complete revitalization of the Avon Lake facility.
