Yesterday I reported on the fact that Dr. Scott Atlas had been added to the Covid Task Force. It is certainly hoped that he can bring a more focused approach to the battle against the coronavirus. America needs a sensible policy approach to the virus.
Previously approaches led by Dr. Anthony Fauci have created panic and depression among many Americans. Dr. Fauci ignored the effects that his policies would have on people. Dr. Fauci seems oblivious to the skyrocketing suicide rates and drug abuse rates that his policies have spawned. He has not addressed the long-term effects of shutting schools down and to delaying important medical screening procedures. Fauci’s pooh-poohing of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as a potential treatment protocol may have cost the country tens of thousands of lives.
At a press conference last week, PDJT announced that Dr. Scott Atlas is joining the Covid Task Force. It would be hard to overstate how good this news is, particularly in view of how embarrassingly wrong that Dr. Fauci, head of the NIH, has been.
Dr. Atlas currently serves as the Robert Wesson Senior Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, a conservative policy think tank. From 1998 to 2012, he was Professor and Chief of Neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center.
In health policy work at Stanford’s Hoover Institution, Atlas has been a leading researcher in health care systems. Atlas’s research interests are domestic and global health care policy, particularly the role of government and the free market in pricing, quality, access, and technology innovation.
The following story is another example of the insanity that is running rampant in NY. The political powers have become drunk with the power they wield. They will keep the people in subjugation until the people have had enough. Hopefully we are getting close to that moment in time.
The newly-minted pair heading up the Democratic Party ticket have gone into full communist mode. On Thursday they made a joint appearance calling for a nationwide mask mandate.
According to Biden,
“Every single American should be wearing a mask when they’re outside for the next three months at a minimum. Every governor should mandate mandatory mask-wearing.”
The Democrats with the help of their media allies have been successful in perpetrating a hysteria about COVID-19. Most recently this has resulted in the announcement by the PAC-12 that they are cancelling their conference’s college football season. Of course, all but two of the schools in the conference are in states ruled by Democratic dictators like California’s Gavin Newsome. Newsome has gone so far as to say that there will be no return to normal until a vaccine is developed to eradicate the illness. Apparently his intent is to inflict as much misery on their residents as possible in hopes of defeating PDJT in November.
There will be never be a vaccine that meets Newsome’s requirements so I guess California colleges can forget about ever again having sports. Right now multiple studies have indicated that as many as 11 strains of the illness are floating around the world. Mutation of the virus is a given and will continue. The most one can expect is something like the flu shot that may or may not protect you from the strain that happens to get going in your area.
Their communist tendencies continue to surface. Metro Nashville At-Large Council Member Sharon Hurt said Wednesday during a virtual meeting of the Joint Public Safety and Health Committee that there should be stronger legislation for those not wearing masks and suggested they be charged with murder or attempted murder.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 61-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night after police said he repeatedly violated a Nashville public health order requiring masks to be worn in public.
According to an arrest warrant, Metro police issued Joseph Bryant a citation just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on Broadway for not wearing a mask, violating Metro Code 2.36.190, which states “it is unlawful for any person to violate an order of the board of health or of the chief medical director.”
The warrant states Bryant was spotted again just before 8 p.m. in the same area, committing the same violation, so rather than issue a state citation, an officer arrested him “due to the obvious likelihood the offense would continue.”
Bryant was booked into the Metro jail around 9 p.m. on a charge of county board of health regulation violation. His bond was set at $500.

Herman Cain died recently from complications from a coronavirus infection. Many Americans do not know just how great a person Herman was. And most will never know since the MSM cannot broadcast his many feats without undermining their narrative that black Americans need help to prosper in this country. The left, in particular, will vilify his memory precisely because he saw through their “progressive” ideology.
Herman Cain was a highly successful businessman who approached everything he did with enthusiasm. In 1977, he joined the Pillsbury Company where he later became vice president. During the 1980s, Cain’s success as a business executive at Burger King prompted Pillsbury to appoint him as chairman and CEO of Godfather’s Pizza. Cain served in that capacity from 1986 to 1996.
