Christianity Under Siege

The Democrats’ anti-Christian bias was on display again.

Without a doubt Christianity is the most persecuted religion worldwide including in this country. Christians expressing their beliefs are attacked in this country as being “bitter clingers,” racists, homophobes and worse simply for expressing their beliefs.

On Sunday a series of horrific attacks killed almost 300 people in Sri Lanka and injured hundreds more. It was the biggest mass terrorist attack in a long time. A radical Islamic religious group has been identified as perpetrating the coordinated attacks. The vast majority of the victims were Christians attending church services on Easter Sunday morning. They were targeted because they are Christians.

In another example of the left trying to normalize political violence, Joseph “Jose” Alcoff (aka “Chepe,” aka “Jose Martin”) has been charged with aggravated assault and ethnic intimidation against two US Marines.

U.S. Marine Corps reservists Alejandro Godinez and Luis Torres, dressed in their military uniforms, testified that a large group of left-wing Antifa activists beat the Marines after mistaking them for participants in a November “We the People” rally in Philadelphia.

The two Marines were in the city for a Marine Corps event. According to the Marines’ testimony, they were touring historical landmarks near Front and Chestnut streets when approached by the Antifa thugs. Godinez testified that they were asked “Are you proud?” to which Godinez remembers responding “We are Marines.” Torres said that he remembers a second question “Are you Proud Boys?” an allusion to one of the alt-right groups behind the rally. Torres said he didn’t understand. “I didn’t know what Proud Boys meant,” he said.

As has been pointed out before, the left wants the American people to accept political violence as normal. Hatred and calls for violence from left wing activists are now so routine that few prominent people bother to condemn them.

Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi have constantly been urging their supporters to confront those who do not agree with their Marxist philosophy, to get in their faces in public, to harass them in restaurants, at department stores, at gas stations. Waters even extended this to harassing people in their homes. The goal is to silence those who disagree with them.

DOJ Election Collusion?

2018 has revealed on many levels the extent of the corruption in the DOJ and the FBI. Only people who have been completely brainwashed will fail to see this. Knowing how far back this went, as Sundance over at CTH noted recently, looking back at events that may have appeared not connected at the time may be seen differently now.

As Sundance has noted, the case of Marc Turi takes on a new perspective. Turi admits to a criminal history. He told Fox Business that in the late 1980s, he stole a computer, his roommate’s car, and wrote bad checks including one for $100,000. Through court records, Fox News verified he was arrested, convicted, and served time in an Arizona jail. Turi admitted “In my youth, I made some very, very bad mistakes…I was discharged from the United States Navy other under than honorable conditions…and I’ve been fighting ever since to get that honor back.” ...

Hangman’s Nooses

Last week on the morning before the runoff election for the US Senate in Mississippi a number of hangman’s nooses were found hanging from trees near the State Capitol in Jackson. In addition, “hate” messages were found nearby.

Of course, this led to an immediate meltdown by the MSM and elite Democrats. Leftists knew immediately who was behind the horrific display: white supremacists who supported Sen. Hyde-Smith in her runoff election against Democrat Mike Espy.

Mueller Tries To Be Relevant Again

Special Counsel Robert Mueller rolled back into the news cycle last week. He made charges that Paul Manafort lied to Congress in violation of his plea agreement. One has to ask why would Mueller go to the news with this now?

Recently, the president’s legal team had PDJT answer questions in writing. They delivered replies to some of the special counsel’s queries on Nov. 20 after months of negotiation. Is this ploy of claiming Manafort lied another desperate attempt by Mueller to remain relevant? Is he somehow trying to get Manafort to change his story so that Mueller can go after PDJT in some outlandish perjury trap? Remember you can be convicted of perjury even if you always told the truth.

Dems Propose Gun Confiscation

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) raised some eyebrows last week when he once again resurrected the idea of banning and confiscating “assault rifles.” See here,hereand here. The fact that Swalwell is a card-carrying member of the anti-liberty movement should come as no surprise to anyone. He has proposed gun confiscation measures before.

He does not believe in the principle of property rights and very limited government. He is part of a group of politicians who believe that American politics is really the government versus the people. ...

The Democrats won control over the House of Representatives. What does this mean going forward?

An intellectually honest review of the possibilities must encompass what the Democrats have done in the recent past. The last time the Dems regained power in the House was in 2006 during Bush 43’s second term.

In doing this review one must keep in mind the Democrats’ 1^stcommandment as noted by Dee Chadwell:
