The avatar in the President’s office removed the terrorist designation from the Houthis (primarily in Yemen). This designation had been put in place during the Trump administration.

Last week the Houthis bombed an airport in Saudi Arabia. The drone strike targeted Abha International Airport in Saudi Arabia, an airport just 75 miles from the Yemeni border that is frequently targeted by the militant rebel group. The attack set one civilian plane on fire.

My memory fails me but isn’t there a word that is used for organizations that target civilian populations with violence? ...

The Big Racket

The Biden administration is considering curtailing the ability for citizens to travel freely but has effectively hung out an “Open Borders” sign for illegals to come into the country. That would mean the border would once again be overrun by drugs, sex traffickers and criminals. Is this just the usual hypocrisy from the Left? Or is there something more sinister going on?

ARIZONA […] In recent days, more than 1,000 people who had been detained after crossing into the U.S. have been released into the country in a reversal of the Trump administration’s near-shutdown of the border. Many more people are gathering on the Mexican side, setting up a test of America’s ability and willingness to admit migrants during a pandemic.

On Thursday in Mexicali, across from Calexico, Calif., migrants could be seen trying to scale a border fence. A migrant camp in Matamoros, Mexico, just across a bridge from Texas, has grown to 1,000 people over the past few weeks.

There is something more sinister going on. The best title for it might be “The Big Racket.”

Politicians on both sides of the aisle play political games with the issue of illegal immigration. As Sundance has noted:

This seems to be my week for visiting historical parallels. Daniel Greenfield has written an article for Frontpage Mag that does an excellent job of drawing parallels between the current actions of the Democratic Party and their allies and totalitarian governments of the past. I will be drawing liberally from the article.

Of course, historical parallels need not be controlling of future events. But, there is danger in failing to learn from the lessons of history. It is best to be prepared. The lessons that we derive from historical events is a highly recommended first step in that preparation.

While walls, razor wire, and military encampments rise outside the halls of government, inside them the Democrats have unleashed a true coup. Protesters have “stormed” Congress before, from both the Left and the Right, which cannot be called overthrowing the government. But Democrats began their own overthrow by launching an unconstitutional post-office impeachment of President Trump for speaking at a peaceful protest and a push to remove Senate members who objected to the stolen election by abusing the 14th Amendment.

The fake emergency has been extended to March. The FBI continues falsely claiming that there is some sort of threat that requires 7,500 soldiers to conduct a military occupation of the nation’s capital. The FBI’s claims that this threat would occur during “First Amendment-protected protests” has a massive credibility problem because there have been no protests in D.C.

COVID-19 To End 1st Amendment

I would never say that COVID-19 is a hoax. There is a COVID-19 virus. Viruses have been around as long as the human race has been around, probably longer. COVID is not more dangerous than all other flu-like viruses that impact the respiratory system. Do people die who contract COVID? Yes, they do just as people do who contract the flu. However, COVID-19 is very manageable and does NOT carry a higher fatality rate.

Several common drugs (hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin, to name two) are effective in managing the illness despite the so-called experts in this country railing against them last year. The mortality rates in countries that advocated their use show this to be true.

So why is COVID-19 being hyped as such a dangerous threat? The reality of the danger from COVID is far lower than the level of the hype about it.

As I mentioned yesterday, the current situation with the faux impeachment has historical analogies. Of particular note is the trial of King Charles I in England in the 17^th Century by radical members of Parliament. Oliver Cromwell was a prominent leader of Parliament who was directly engaged in the insurrection that defeated King Charles. And it was an insurrection.

While this is a long story involving multiple years of civil war in England, in the end the dispute was about powers that Parliament had versus the powers of the King.

Gun Control

When the left said that they were coming for your guns, they meant it. A massive Democratic gun-control plan would require weapon owners and their family members to undergo “psychological evaluations.” Wrong thinking has now been entered on the Washington scene for purposes of criminalization. Wrong thinking will result in the loss of your guns under proposed legislation.

The Democrats are working very quickly to obliterate the 1^st and 2^nd Amendments. The Democrats believe they do not have to worry about blowback from the people since they think they have now mastered the art of election fraud. No longer will the “deplorables” mess up their plans for a totalitarian state.

Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee introduced a bill that would enact the strictest gun regulations in the history of the country and give the federal government sweeping power to decide who can own a firearm.

Rush Limbaugh on Evil

While China Joe was sworn in as America’s 46th president on Wednesday, talk-radio star Rush Limbaugh said he believes the Democrats are fully aware the 2020 presidential election was illegitimate. Of course, close to half the registered voters in the country believe that massive fraud took place. But the main stream media still wants us to believe that there is “no evidence of fraud.”

Rush was careful in his choice of words as he opened his monologue. I suppose he doesn’t want some idiot filing a defamation suit over the fraud that took place. ...

Insurrection

After the “storming” of the Capitol Building on January 6^th, the media has treated the country to story after story about insurrection, coup d’etat, and rioting. Of course, as usual the media had a narrative they wanted to push and it had little connection to the real facts on the ground. Those who would permanently control the power in this country may have realized that their hold over Americans is tenuous at best.

When the narrative quickly lost steam due in no small part to the hundreds of thousands of peaceful protesters who were actually present in Washington on January 6^th, they switched gears. The story that was pushed was that pro-Trump supporters were going to disrupt the inauguration of America’s first pretend President as well as bringing chaos to the capitol cities of states across the country. More than once the FBI was quoted as being in possession on credible evidence of potential right-wing violence.

Back in 1941, President Roosevelt roared that December 7, 1941 was a date that would live in infamy. On December 7, 1941, the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan. This cemented our entry into World War II.

Yesterday, January 20, 2021 is truly a day that will live in infamy. This is destined to be seen as one of the darkest days in our history. Massive fraud and corruption elevated a spineless, corrupt, senile old man to be President of the United States. On this date, for the first time, an illegitimate President was sworn into the office. Evil has taken over the government of the United States of America.

Is The Media Losing Its Grip?

Has the media entered into an echo chamber or fantasy land where what they say matters little to most Americans?

Rasmussen and others conduct regular polls on the popularity and support for POTUS. On January 5^th, PDJT’s job approval rating was 47%. Then came the rally to Save America on January 6^th which was followed by some Antifa types and some pro-Trump loonies invading the Capitol building.

Since then, there has been firestorm of coverage from the media denouncing the President, charging sedition, incitement to riot, an attempted coup and calling for his impeachment. The Democrats have obliged by ginning up another false impeachment proceeding. They even managed to convince a small number of Republicans to join them.
