The Democrats are becoming more desperate by the hour. Democratic National Committee chair Jaime Harrison (he is the guy who spent $100M to lose to Lindsey Graham by double digit percentage points in 2020) is lashing out at Republicans trying to counter horrendous polls ahead of the 2022 midterms. He is desperately trying to label Republicans as fascists.
Do not equate calm in the face of serious problems with weakness. I provide this from Rudyard Kipling as food for thought.
The latest assault on the English language and many others is the use of the word autocracy. No one has been more autocratic in their governance than all the western leaders who triggered shutdowns, mandates, forced business closures and ultimately mandatory vaccines and vaccine passports. None of those rules, regulations and mandates connected in any way to COVID came from democratic authorization. None of them were passed through the legislative process. Every last one of them came from unilateral fiat and powers grabbed as a result of emergency declarations.
I have not written a whole lot about what is going on in Ukraine because there is almost no way to get accurate information. Russian State media runs propaganda for Putin. In Western countries, Big Media is little more than the same kind of propaganda arm. To quote one wag, the media here are just stenographers who repeat whatever the government elites tell them. The days of independent journalists digging out stories are gone.
Here we go again. I am sure that Dr. Fauci will be running to the microphones to admonish the public about relaxing their guard over an imminently highly transmissible version of COVID. The latest variant labeled “XE” is being called the most infectious yet.
There is an old saying. Once you can see the strings on the marionettes, you can never unsee them. The same is true with governments. Once you see the lies and manipulation coming from governments, you can never unsee them.
On the other side of the coin, once you see the truth, you can never not see it. Justin Trudeau was seen as a young, brash politician who happened to be elected Prime Minister of a functioning democracy. How many people realized that he was a wannabee dictator after the likes of Fidel Castro and Xi Jinping? After his recent actions against the Freedom Convoy, how many people now realize this? This is truth that cannot be unseen.
Last weekend, U.S Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said Poland was in preparations to send their MIG fighter planes to Ukraine, and the US would be replacing them. This was surprising to say the least. Poland is a member of NATO. This whole confrontation got running because Biden said Ukraine would be welcomed into NATO. This was contrary to agreements signed back in the early 1990’s that NATO would not expand eastward.
The Liar-in-Chief for this administration said on Monday that the Biden administration will try to reduce the impact of rising oil prices for American consumers. This is an outright lie that Psaki has uttered. Unlike some other countries the US can control the price of gasoline. Why? Because America has abundant energy resources, more than any other country in the world.
GOP House member Ralph Norman (R-SC) recently noted this:
Is your wallet a little lighter these days? Well, this morning’s news from the U.S. Labor Department isn’t good. January data was just released, showing the prices we pay for goods & services have risen an average of 7.5% over the last year. That’s the highest rate in the past 40 years.
Is this woman a product of our higher educational system or is she an escapee from a hospital for criminally insane? Perhaps both statements are true.
